I have read so...Thanks 34 (related to 42, perhaps?)
I have read some Murray Bookchin, and his Libertarian Municipalism is updated Greek Democracy. I agree with the approach, and with the permculture approach, which I emulate.
I'm glad you find this information sympatico.John Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12123174297818737132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4275885258914846834.post-1125315610057591362021-10-14T10:32:04.348-05:002021-10-14T10:32:04.348-05:00Hi John, I found your blog through Caitlin Johnsto...Hi John, I found your blog through Caitlin Johnstones comment section and have been enjoying your blog for a few months. Great topic. I highlighted a section but its all been said already. Ive been imagining dual power for almost 20 years. The root of all dissidence is the generally bifurcated R/L) response to ongoing gaslighting that is a direct response to basic 1human awareness that we are perpetuating an entire economy and culture rooted around glaring incompatibilities with life on earth forgetting we are alive on earth and that this in itself is a mystical realization. Quite possibly the omnicidal war against all life is exemplary of the no free lunches mentality that creates billionaires as symbolic inverse doubles.
I made a turn towards the little I understand about "democratic municipalism" the Kurdish offshoot of Social Ecology. Namely discarding external ideologies about failed concepts. In the Kurdish situation its a discard of state nationalism and to some extent abandoning communist rhetoric as a byproduct of a fundamentally flawed system, and a move towards decentralized local resourcing and locus of executive decision making rooted in direct democracy and a social contract. Permaculture overlaps this way of thinking for me as plant production and husbandry becomes part of my every day routine. Survival and its obstacles are much better talking points than fanbasing political outlets or politicians. Although I have to admit for the sake of intellectual honesty I just did that only because it had informed the great question addressed in this blog of survival inside and outside of this power grab. There ws a long, snaking line of people awaiting vaccination as I walked out last night, another "vaccine clinic" event. They are giving Moderna "boosters" and vaccinating as many kids as parents will consent. They say the vaccines are safe-and-approved.
I am a foreigner there now. I belong to the spirit/ghost of the 1970 "People's Free Clinic".John Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12123174297818737132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4275885258914846834.post-61070756935103174362021-10-14T00:59:39.070-05:002021-10-14T00:59:39.070-05:00John - so, so sorry to hear about your predicament...John - so, so sorry to hear about your predicament.
