The critters share my figs with me, but I canned some tomatoes in May and June, have a couple of cases of quarts of pickled cucumbers, have some habanero-carrot salsa and some "scorpion-bite" salsa, lots of dry, shelled blackeyed peas, paper bags of yellow onions, heirloom garlic on a drying rack, a few little peppers drying, carrots in the fridge, and so on. Our last freeze (hard, though) was January 7, this year, so I really had to start storing produce this time around.
