Our very lives

Confronting Death,

My inbox just asked me, "What scares you more, COVID-19 or nuclear war?" My mind quickly responded that it's not either-or, but it's both.
We can be afraid of both the chimeric Boston COVID with the 80% kill rate that attacks the brain AND a nuclear false-flag attack to blame Russia (then goes horribly-wrong despite all the best planning).  https://petermcculloughmd.substack.com/p/what-scares-you-more

Our owners-and-masters are searching hard for the right fear-narrative or narratives to optimally control all of us as we proceed into the further breakage of the global-economic life-support system, which allows so very many of us to live today.
We should be paying attention to the very real mortal threats. They don't mind killing a few billion of us for a good cause. However, the only route out of this in any elite plans for any of us, is as a slave, preferably a completely controlled slave with electronic brain implants and fully electronic money so that we make all the best choices, or no choices at all.
We should also do what humans have always done, which is to grow some food and save what harvest we can for winter, most literally, and also allegorically.
Vegetable gardens, "victory gardens"( Liberty Garden https://www.johndayblog.com/2016/07/liberty-garden-central-texas-climate.html ) have always helped people survive privation in times of war and economic depression. None of us can truly be "self-sufficient". We are not lone-wolves, but social, communal, cooperative creatures, which is our big advantage, what got us so far on this planet.
Human societies have collapsed or died-back many times in history. This is controversial, and picking fault in this theme is a psychological defense mechanism against mental anguish, "cognitive dissonance". The Black Death, Bubonic Plague, spread by fleas on rats, in human cities and agricultural communities, was one of those die-backs. The concentration of humans, and the abundance of rats and fleas, opened an environmental niche for the bacterium, Yersinia Pestis, to spread along trade routes from China to Europe in the 1300s. It was promptly used as a weapon of war, catapulting infected corpses into the besieged city of Kaffa, by an army which was dying of it. Populations were concentrated and weakened by poor nutrition and hygiene. Die off were fractions of each city or town and came in wave after wave.
The Maya collapsed from bad weather hitting their optimized agriculture for an extended period of time. There was a lot of raiding of nearby villages and sacrificing of prisoners to the angry sun god. It went on for a really long time. I have come to think that hungry people go along with killing other hungry people if they are given an excuse that most people can agree with.
It worked again for Hitler, and it almost just worked against "the unvaccinated", but not quite. Not yet.
I also think that the Mayan priests who were cutting out those beating hearts were running the scam to keep themselves in control of the degrading situation, to wait out the return of better harvests, and to take credit for them. They could well have believed the scam. It would make it even easier to run.
Our owners these days have so much more knowledge of history, science, technology, and expert consultants to help them manage billions of people, and their perceptions of "reality". Smart-phones, personalized AI-shaping of data-streams and Google-ads help. The main thing that the owners need is to stay in possession of property and "long term interests", which means arrangements which keep paying them unearned tributary income.
The owners, elites, nobles-and-royalty of old, serve the societal role of killing a lot of people and making it seem perfectly normal and unavoidable. Hitler and the Mayan priests both did it, and their unified societies rallied around them.  The characteristics which define the elites are the drive to power and a sort of smiling ruthlessness when it comes to the practicalities of throat cutting and back stabbing without remorse.
In good times, these qualities are little-needed in our world, and are discouraged by affluent societies, but in bad times, times of poor crops and declining resources, there is some intuitive wave which runs through a nation, calling their hearts to follow a leader who will give them the rich lands and harvests of those decadent neighbors, who stole it from their grandparents, anyway.
Not everybody is subject to that call of the Pied-Piper. I've never liked the exhilaration of thousands of sports fans in a stadium. (Creepy to me. Lemme outta here!) You might or might not be prone to getting that lynch-mob feeling, yourself. What we taught our children in Dachau and Tuol Sleng is that you have to be on the lookout for the creation of sub-humans, because that is the first and essential step. Fight it if you can, or get away before it marks you as a target.
I fought the "unvaccinated-sub-human" meme from even before it was identifiable as a trend this time. I got fired, but I'm not dead. Enough of us accepted firing in enough places to halt its advance. It may be withering. It is sure withering in Texas and Florida. A holding-action was helpful this time, since vaccine-deaths and "negative efficacy" did not get swept under the rug. More and more people are more and more aware. Omicron took the mortal threat out of COVID, also, which magnified the relative threat of the gene-therapy vaccine products, put those harms in a spotlight.
It looks like "Nuclear-War" is the control-narrative which is waiting next in line. Those of us who have never personally known war, never survived through war, still have an abstract concept that we should all avoid nuclear war. It stands perfectly to reason for all people, everywhere.
The universality of apprehension regarding nuclear war is a desirable quality in a control narrative. It works everywhere, for everybody. The culling-elites will have secured their bunkers and underground holdouts, but they also know that only helps with immediate survival, not the next 30 years of living in a wasteland, nor of the risks of betrayal by other elite survivors.
The uncertainty with the threat of nuclear war is the uncertainty of not truly knowing how rational the opponent is, nor exactly how desperate, nor exactly how well secured the perceived interests of the opponent are, against the threat. Does the opponent really have a whole modern world under the Denver airport?
All of that analysis is superficial and unprincipled. It does not take into account the deep and sustaining convictions of a rare group of leaders, including Charles deGaulle, John Kennedy, and probably Nikita Khrushchev when he was sober. Khrushchev was pretty sober during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

I'm a surface-dweller. I have no way around that, nor would I choose to have a bunker in the Rocky Mountains. Our homestead in Yoakum is either in a green or a red zone for nuclear fallout, depending on the winds that day. It's the best we can do. I sure hope the 5 military bases in San Antonio don't get nuked, but that just means that I hope there is no nuclear war.
We can't expect our sociopathic owners to change. They are what they are. They are not going to develop compassion and humanistic insight, though they may often see the value in pretending to. The one thing they excel at is the normalization of killing a lot of people, and getting large groups of people on-board with that. Timing seems to be everything.
The owners seem to have jumped-the-gun with COVID, which might have just leaked out a little too soon, but was an opportunity which they could not ignore.
Are we now "immunized" against the next round of creation of sub-human scapegoats? Who might they be?
Could be anybody, right? I never expected to be in one of those target-groups, but here I am.

Jessica Rose Ph.D. looks at the clear and explicit evidence of the laboratory creation of SARS-CoV-2, which was already explained in early 2020 by Luc Montagnier MD, who got a Nobel Prize for describing the AIDS virus. It is still as clear and convincing. The "fingerprints" of lab manipulation are unmistakable.
Dr. Rose goes on to discuss some of the parts-swapping that viruses can do. There are some functional HIV parts in the spike-protein of the original Wuhan virus, for instance. the new, chimeric Boston lab COVID has the Omicron spike protein and the rest of it is Wuhan-COVID. It kills 80% of humanized lab mice, often by attacking their brains, a new viral super-power. She goes into a lot of detail about parts swapping between AIDS and COVID in human hosts, like AIDS-patients with COVID. She notes that there was a big and ongoing push for AIDS testing concurrent with the COVID pandemic and ongoing. Is it to track another viral super-power? The mRNA COVID c=vaccine products profoundly suppress interleukin-based immunity to viruses, which increases COVID infection rates for 2 weeks after injection as a known baseline. There is a lot more to explore about immune suppression. She explores some.

Five years ago, I warned in a study that Europe faces an increasing risk of state failure due to the escalation of interlinked environmental, energy and economic crises – and I found an intriguing pattern: states begin to fail within 15 years of losing their main sources of energy and economic revenue.
Escalating crisis drives social polarisation, undermining national cohesion and resulting in outbreaks of civil unrest. Without a change of course, these outbreaks coalesce to undermine the functioning of key state institutions. At worst, they can lead to total government collapse and a state of permanent warfare.
Gripped by multiple crises, Britain now appears to be following a familiar pattern of environmental, energy and economic-driven state failure.

Saudi Arabia and Argentina want to join the BRICS, which will be addressed at the 2023 BRICS summit, hosted by South Africa, some time next summer.
Saudi oil has been a foundation of the American petrodollar since Nixon/Kissinger, and somewhat so since FDR. Argentina keeps defaulting on debt, and could make a fresh start, but mechanisms to avoid another default would need to be in place.

Turkey is also key to European gas pipelines from the waters off Israel and Lebanon, to the giant Iranian Pars gas field, which have been delayed by wars.
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that he had agreed with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to form a natural gas hub in Turkey...
“Türkiye will be a hub for natural gas as well. In our last meeting, we agreed with Putin on this issue. We will create a hub here with Turkish gas coming from Russia,” Erdogan said.
The U.S. State Department fired back.
“We have worked closely with our allies and partners to impose severe and unprecedented costs on Russia, including through sanctions, export controls, visa restrictions. We have urged Turkey and all of our allies and partners that no one should have become a safe haven for illicit Russian assets or transactions, and we will continue to make that case,” Vedant Patel, State Department’s principal deputy spokesperson said.

Meryl Nass MD reports that the CDC Advisory Committee on Vaccines will vote today, about now, on recommending COVID vaccines for children, which offers only harm, not benefit, based upon medical findings to date. It will absolve the vaccine manufacturers and their agents in government from liability, including the ongoing injuries and deaths to children and adults, which we reasonably expect.

Florida Surgeon General Ladapo says that the CDC decision will not change the stance of the state of Florida against COVID vaccination for children and men under 40 years of age, which is based on medical evidence that the vaccine-products do more harm than potential good in these population groups.

Jessica Rose Ph.D. looks at the gain-of-function research on COVID in a Boston level-3 lab (should be level-4 for this work), which causes 80% mortality rate in "humanized" mice, which are a good model for human illness. As we have already seen, this research took the very-infectious spike protein of Omicron, and coupled it to the body of the original Wuhan virus of January 2020. We know that this is a highly fatal combination, but what she points out, of special interest, is that this new chimeric virus aggressively attacked the brains and nervous systems of the mice, contorting and paralyzing their bodies in the process.
This efficiency at crossing the blood-brain barrier to attack the brain and spinal cord is a deadly new weaponized coronavirus super-power.
The lab objects that "this is not gain-of-function research".

Pepe Escobar, China: Xi gets ready for the final countdown
Escobar gives an in depth explanation of the meanings contained within Xi Jinping's 45 minute address to the Communist Party of China. Difficult times are foreseen, which hearkens back to the words of Mao Tse Tung. Escobar explains that the COVID-Zero policy is because China quietly sees COVID as an American bioweapon, or suite of related viral bioweapons. This is a view that I share, but I prefer India's approach, treating with ivermectin, zinc, doxycycline and vitamin-D.

Surplus Energy Economics looks at "The Dynamics of Global Repricing"
Real, physical economy has always closely tracked the use of fossil fuels, especially oil, but also coal and natural gas. Oil alone is an adequate surrogate.
Since 1980 there has been a divergence of financial economy from real economy, which has been more marked since 1990.
This divergence has accelerated since 2008, and must be realigned. The realignment will be taking place in a time of increasing costs of extraction of fossil fuels and declining net fuel availability, but with the most debt leveraged onto the future of any time in history. Energy will be required to pay this debt in the future, which is essentially not possible. The financial options for debt default are not directly discussed, but stagnant economy with inflation, "stagflation" is inevitable, and will continue long term. The leveraging of debt and reliance of societies upon the continued service of this debt by real economic production is worrisome for societies, as it is for indebted individuals and those depending upon retirement and investment income.
A steady decline in the ability of society to invest in industrial and infrastructure work will be a result of these changes. The loss of disposable income after necessary purchase of food and fuel by households will be another.
This amount of decline in the ability to make discretionary expenditures will be completely unprecedented in history, including the Great Depression and WW-2 period.

New Improved COVID

Meryl Nass MD, a specialist in Internal Medicine, and an expert in biowarfare, including vaccine-bioweapons, who testified before the US Congress regarding the cause of "Gulf War Syndrome" being the secret experimental Anthrax vaccine that some service members were given without consent.
Records of this were very well protected by the DoD, but the story was pieced together over time, with sound medical evidence, immunologic evidence.
I became aware of this in the late 1990s, but the story is buried in disinformation to this day. Google says it was "later disproven", but that's exactly-untrue.
Early this year, the Maine Medical Board suspended Dr. Nass' medical license and mandated that she undergo Psychological Evaluation, implying mental-instability. She complied, and nothing odd was discovered, but she did not get her actual hearing started until last week. Dr. Nass is without fault, but the Maine Medical Board has discovered that they needed to cancel a lot of their allegations just before the hearing. They might have some liability...
Jim Kunstler has the story here, and it is some of his best writing ever.

..Our authorities have disgraced themselves behind a new theology of degenerate “science” that veers back into superstition and necromancy. Proof that they don’t believe their own story shows in their desperate efforts to hide the data, confabulate numbers, ignore true facts, and lash out viciously at anyone who discloses their zealous deceits.
Case in point: the persecution of Meryl Nass, MD, in the state of Maine by its Board of Licensure in Medicine. Dr. Nass is an internal medicine physician and a recognized expert in bioterrorism who famously uncovered the origin of the mysterious “Gulf War Syndrome” as a reaction to the US Army’s own anthrax vaccine. She has testified before Congress and in many state legislatures about vaccine safety.

Dr. Nass will be covering this live on her blog, which link is below. If vaccine companies get any vaccine included on the recommended schedule for children they are liability-free for that product, no matter who it may kill or maim. (This article points out that military hardware, including guided missiles, typically uses older , standardized chips, often the same chips for various purposes. Russia probably has their need for military-application computing chips covered, also.)

Excerpted from Cui Bono? The Big Picture, about changing global economy, and how it might be managed, which is now contested.
..It is essential to understand the concept of EROI (energy returned over invested) as well as the full life cycles of the different energy sources: from extraction to processing to transportation to end user. Such explanation is beyond the scope of this article. Suffice to say that high EROI energy sources are cheap to harvest and deliver, however low EROI energy sources are expensive to harvest and deliver and indeed may represent a financial net loss. Such has been true for fracked US shale oil, another Ponzi scam which was never profitable at ANY oil price (even >$100 per barrel). It was a misbegotten project that was bulldozed through using market hubris, blatant fraud, low interest bank loans and inappropriate government subsidies. Such economic stupidity and fraud is also true for the overseas export of fracked US shale gas, even before considering the expensive energy requirements to liquefy it (cooling down to around minus 163 deg C), with continued energy needed to refrigerate it during transportation in specialist highly insulated tankers (now in short supply around the world) and the multi billion dollar investments required for specialist handling at purpose designed export and import terminals (not yet built).
The USA has depleted all its economically viable sources of oil and gas, all its remaining sources have woefully low EROI and hence are super costly (energy wise and hence price wise) to extract, process and transport. Fracked shale oil is nothing like crude oil, it has the API index and volatility of paint thinner, which is why the trains used to transport it are called “bomb” trains. You cannot make diesel, the indispensable workhorse fuel, from fracked shale oil.
Russia, along with the Caspian area, has in aggregate gone past the peak of oil production, with declining EROI (with only a few fields pre-Peak eg Kashagan). However compared with the USA, the Eurasian oil and gas sources have a far higher EROI, which is IMPOSSIBLE for the US to economically compete with...
..At present the European currencies have fallen against the USD, primarily as a result of their own energy sanctions against Russia which has caused the recession of their own economies. The European industrial sectors are poised to collapse from energy starvation. Once the BRICS+ currency arrangements and financial systems, which bypass the USD, get up and running, there will be massive flight of away from US bonds and securities and the massive international repatriation of US dollars back to the US, which will result in hyperinflation and devaluation of the US dollar, resulting in their inability to afford any imports.

"It's Global Govt Re-Engineering" -Catherine Austin Fitts Warns Fed Actions Are "100% Power Politics... It's A War"
(Money is government. Money makes decisions. The money the world will use is contested.)
What you are looking at is a fundamental reengineering of the governance system on planet Earth.
Most of the benefits in the dollar system come from the benefits of having the reserve currency and being able to swap money you print out of thin air for real labor and real commodities worldwide.
That’s an enormous benefit, and they are going to protect that benefit.  If they don’t protect that benefit, they run the risk of everybody moving out of the channel.  This is what the Chinese and Russians are trying to do.
They are trying to move out of the dollar channel and trying to create economic resiliency and trade outside the channel.  What the Fed is trying to do and the dollar syndicate is trying to do is protect that channel...
It’s global government reengineering.  It’s 100% power politics, and it’s a war.”

Michael Every of Rabobank: Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Fire  (Contains a long discourse with many discrete points about not being able to predict what is about to happen in a global setting of so very many specific contests for power. I excerpt just a few.)
How many models of the Chinese economy match what The Economist just implied using satellite images taken at night – that it, and others, are much smaller than purported to be?
The 20th CCP congress cementing Xi’s third term began with him stating we are a “critical time” in history, and to be "prepared for the great tests of not only high winds and rapid waves, but also stormy waves and hazardous seas." ...
(Quoting or paraphrasing Mao.)
There was a call to promote the “spirit of frugality across the entire society,” which doesn’t sound like what the lines I still see are predicting about Chinese demand growth...
Even the Wall Street Journal, which cheer-led US investment into China, now warns: ‘Xi Jinping’s Endgame: A China Prepared for Conflict With the US’.
Conversely, the new US National Security Strategy focuses on Russia and China from a whole-of-government perspective, including trade, industrial policy, regulation, and markets; and NSA Sullivan says the post-Cold War era is over. Very much so, it seems, as new US restrictions on China’s access to tech are so draconian they are seen as an “industry-wide decapitation” that may even echo the 1941 US oil boycott vs. Japan in some observers’ eyes.
The US is also busy threatening to stop selling weapons to the Saudis in response to OPEC+ production cuts; coming out in support of Iranian anti-regime protestors; calling Pakistan “one of the most dangerous nations in the world” for having “nuclear weapons without any cohesion”; watching North Korean missile launches and threatened nuclear tests; and facing rising tensions with Turkey.

Dead Hand (Russian MAD system to assure nuclear counterstrike  upon the west) vs. Dead Brain (Western corrupt, divided, old and impaired "leadership")
Thanks to Eleni for this long and detailed look at the tensions in global power structures and the functional incapacity of the west to act rationally on a strategic scale, because decisions are all for small, specific advantages for particular groups of oligarchs, none of which can take a small short-term loss for a long term gain in security/stability. It was worth the 50 minutes it took for me to read it. Here is a closing statement.  [Note: Putin is not "Hitler" in this analogy.]
Just as Hitler, at the end of 1942, in his Wolf’s Lair headquarters near Rastenburg (now Kętrzyn), loudly lamented and openly regretted the attack on the USSR, even though at that time he was still far from total defeat, so today the real masters of NATO realize that they have made a fatal mistake by involving themselves directly into a military conflict with Russia, thinking that it could go unnoticed and unpunished.
However, unlike Hitler, NATO was given a final warning and an opportunity to withdraw, save its honor and survive as an organization. If the leaders of NATO and the collective West, above all representatives of the USA, do not sit down at the negotiating table with Russia and accept the right of the Russian people in the former parts of Ukraine to self-determination, renounce the Nazi regime in Kiev and give up from the further expansion of NATO, we can expect the imminent start of a total nuclear war that will most certainly lead to the complete annihilation of the Western Hemisphere. All responsibility for the tragedy on the territory of the former and current Ukraine lies with the people who have the real power to manage NATO. The fate of all humanity is now in the hands of the elites in Washington and London and we all must stand up together, raise our voices and let them know that we want to live!

NATO is carrying out  aerial nuclear-attack-upon-Russia War-Games today over Europe.
They will continue until the end of October. What could go wrong?
According to a NATO press release, "Exercise “Steadfast Noon” involves 14 countries and up to 60 aircraft of various types, including fourth and fifth-generation fighter jets, as well as surveillance and tanker aircraft. As in previous years, US B-52 long-range bombers will take part." It added, "as long as nuclear weapons exist, NATO will remain a nuclear alliance." ...
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg stated it would send the "wrong signal" to cancel the war games. "It would send a very wrong signal if we suddenly now canceled a routine, long-time planned exercise because of the war in Ukraine. That would be absolutely the wrong signal to send," he said on Tuesday.
Stoltenberg argued that going through with nuclear war games is the best way to prevent nuclear war. "NATO’s firm, predictable behavior, our military strength, is the best way to prevent escalation."

Full preparations for "textbook" war appear to be underway in Russia and Belarus, probably to get underway after the mud freezes next month.

Musk and Kim Dotcom talk nuclear war
(on Twitter)
“The hell with it … even though Starlink is still losing money and other companies are getting billions of taxpayer [dollars], we’ll just keep funding Ukraine govt for free,” Musk tweeted on Saturday.
The billionaire has donated around 25,000 Starlink satellite internet terminals to Ukraine after Russia launched its military operation in the neighboring country in February.
Kim Dotcom, whose real name is Kim Schmitz, replied: “In other words you will continue your support for the US proxy war in Ukraine despite your better knowledge that this is a US proxy war and the risk of a nuclear war because of the US proxy war?”
“Damned if you do, damned if you don’t, so … guess I’m just damned,” Musk wrote in response.
Schmitz then praised Musk for offering ideas for a peace settlement between Moscow and Kiev. “I believe in you. We are facing nuclear war because of reckless US foreign policy in Ukraine. You know that. This is a big one. We have to put our personal interests aside for the sake of humanity,” he argued.
Musk replied: “I’m trying my hardest to de-escalate this situation and obviously failing.”

The reports in the west are that Russia is about to escalate, but the west might escalate this month and not wait for the Ukrainian mud to freeze.
China Orders Evacuation Of All Citizens Still In Ukraine, Sparking Escalation Fears

This essay examines the 80% of the world which is not "the west", including Saudi Arabia (breaking the petrobuck), Russia, China, India, Iran, Turkey, Brazil and most of the African continent tending to their own interests going forward. This is mainly just walking away from the $US global military-financial hegemony, because it's time. The Threat of the petrobuck empire is no longer so credible after Afghanistan, and as the west loses in Ukraine, unless it uses nukes.
If NATO uses nukes and blames it on Russia, that's another way to lose, the worst way.
Patrick Lawrence: The Non-West Coalesces
..A final note in the matter of the BRICS and the Saudis’ interest in joining them. It is a matter of record that, as currently constituted, the group is developing a basket of currencies intended to serve as an alternative to the dollar in international trade. This sounds like another very big deal in the making. Since the Saudis agreed in 1945 to price oil in dollars, the petroleum market has been absolutely key to the U.S. currency’s supremacy as a reserve currency—which, in turn, has been key to Washington’s projection of American hegemony.
Now what? Friends in the markets used to tell me that de-dollarization, while a long-term inevitability, would not occur in my lifetime. I don’t hear much of this anymore.

Central Banks, banks in general, are politically captured in times of critical societal change. They cannot become hated within a society, and they must also inflate the money further to deal with massive debt, which can't be paid at face value. There will also be losses imposed upon "investors", but the dilution of the money to pay the oversized bills is the recurring strategy. It needs to be about 6% real-inflation rate. They can lie about this for years, as you see every day.
What if central banks don’t want to play along and try to regain control over the creation of money?
They could, but in order to do that, they would really have to go to war with their own government. This will be very hard, because the politicians in government will say they are elected to pursue these policies. They are elected to keep energy prices down, elected to fight climate change, elected to invest in defence and to reduce inequality. Arthur Burns, who was the Fed chairman during the Seventies, explained in a speech in 1979 why he lost control of inflation. There was an elected government, he said, elected to fight a war in Vietnam, elected to reduce inequality through Lyndon B. Johnson’s Great Society programs. Burns said it wasn’t his job to stop the war or the Great Society programs. These were political choices.
(And Nixon's inevitable gold default.)

Europe Has Been Preparing a Global Gold Standard Since the 1970s. Part 2
..After Nixon unilaterally suspended the last vestige of the gold standard in 1971, Europe was not amused. Led by France, which wanted to return to a gold standard, the Europeans began countering dollar dominance and slowly prepare a new arrangement. In 1973 the European Economic Community (ECC) publicly stated in the New York Times: “[Europe] will promote agreement on international monetary reform to achieve an equitable and durable system taking into account the interests of the developing countries.” Clearly, Europe didn’t envisage a dollar standard for the long haul, as it isn’t equitable nor durable.
Since the 1960s Europe was holding most of the world’s monetary gold. In the 1990s several Western European central banks started selling gold to equalize their gold reserves among each other and large economies outside Europe. From 1999 until 2008 they did so officially through a “concerted programme of sales” dubbed the Central Bank Gold Agreements (CBGA)...
..European central bankers must have realized the inevitability of a debt spiral when the world went from a gold to a paper standard in 1971. Their preferred “equitable and durable” monetary reset would be international, depriving the U.S. of its exorbitant privilege, and extinguish the debt overhang created over time.     One way of cancelling debt while still complying to the rules of economic scarcity is for central banks to buy up all excessive debt in the economy and then revalue gold. Unrealized gains on the liability side of central banks’ balance sheets, a product of revaluing their gold, can then be used to cancel assets (bonds) on the asset side...
..Crunching the numbers lead me to think that if gold to GDP and gold to total reserves ratios are matched, then total reserves to GDP ratios must be too. The data supports my hypothesis: the harmonization of total reserves to GDP ratios in the entire eurozone is indisputable...
.. I reckon the eurozone’s gold strategy is this:
For the eurozone to own an adequate amount of monetary gold relative to economies outside of Europe based on GDP.  To have roughly the same gold to GDP ratios in medium and large economies in the eurozone. This objective also serves the first objective.
To have commensurate total reserves to GDP ratios in all countries in the eurozone to be able to fine-tune gold to GDP ratios before revaluing gold.
To have approximately equal gold to total reserves ratios in medium and large economies in the eurozone. This objective is achieved by adjusting foreign exchange reserves and serves the previous three objectives.
Stand ready for a monetary reset...
..Total reserves to GDP ratios for non-eurozone countries are more or less in line with eurozone countries...
..It seems all countries in the E.U. have secretly agreed to the gold strategy I have outlined above. If my analysis is correct, and the trend of equalizing reserves continues, we can expect some countries in the E.U. to buy gold (i.e. the Czech Republic), others foreign exchange (i.e. Denmark), and still others sell foreign exchange (i.e. Croatia). Countries outside the E.U. will continue buying gold as well to come on par. Except, of course, the United States.
The reset described above will happen when all large economies are in an insurmountable crisis. Revaluing gold to cancel government debt is not something they want to do more often so it comes down to one window of opportunity...
..The gold is evenly distributed in the eurozone, but the debt that needs to be cancelled is not. For example, Italy has a public debt to GDP ratio of 150%, while in Germany it’s 70%. Part 3 of this series will be about risk sharing: what options there are to transfer debt from Italy to other countries, in order to make most use of all NCBs’ revaluation accounts.

To review, the Biden administration last week laid out new rules on chip exports based on US concerns that China will use AI to improve military capabilities, support surveillance for human rights abuses and "disrupt or manufacture outcomes that undermine democratic governance and sow social unrest".
.."To put it simply, Biden has forced all Americans working in China to pick between quitting their jobs and losing American citizenship," Schneider writes, adding "One round of sanctions from Biden did more damage than all four years of performative sanctioning under Trump." ...
.."Every American executive and engineer working in China’s semiconductor manufacturing industry resigned yesterday, paralyzing Chinese manufacturing overnight."

Asia Times: Chip war policy hurting US firms more than China   (Until last week, you mean?)
The Chinese can no longer rely on US equipment suppliers and European and Japanese suppliers must follow US rules if their products incorporate US technology, so China will step up its import substitution campaign.
Sanctions on China have already caused large losses for American semiconductor and equipment companies, and more are probably on the way. Furthermore, in the next up-cycle, the China opportunity for foreign suppliers is likely to be much diminished.

Communication Battlefield

 Embattled Souls,

This caught my eye this morning, and it has to lead. It's like "When it is important, you have to lie".
This is an urgent call to arms from the top of the EU hierarchy.
"This is a perfect storm," exclaims European Commission Vice President Josep Borrell in his opening speech to EU Ambassadors this week...

I need you to be much more engaged in this battle of narratives.
It is not something secondary. It is not just winning the wars by sending tanks, missiles, and troops.
It is a big battle: who is going to win the spirits and the souls of people?

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell issued a threat against Russia on Thursday, warning that Western powers would “annihilate” the Russian army if Moscow uses nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
“Putin is saying he is not bluffing. Well, he cannot afford bluffing, and it has to be clear that the people supporting Ukraine and the European Union and the Member States, and the United States and NATO are not bluffing neither,” Borrel said at a European Diplomatic Academy event in Bruges, Belgium.
(What kind of attack could this be? Chemical? Biological? Propaganda?)
“Any nuclear attack against Ukraine will create an answer, not a nuclear answer but such a powerful answer from the military side that the Russian Army will be annihilated,” he added.

Tulsi 2024

 Fed Up,

NATO Planned a Pre-emptive Strike On Russia
..One of the largest French maritime exercises in the Mediterranean, POLARIS 21 (Préparation Opérationnelle en Lutte Aéromaritime, Résilience, Innovation et Supériorité), took place from November 18 to December 3, 2021 in the area west of the island of Corsica, between France and Spain. The exercise also included a segment on the Atlantic coast of mainland France...
..Journalists came into possession of data related to the exercise POLARIS 2021. The data speak clearly about the advance preparation of the NATO to enter into an armed conflict with the Russian Federation in the event of Russia’s intervention in Ukraine.  According to the legend of the maneuvers, it was determined that in response to the alleged Russian intervention, the forces of the NATO coalition would form and send an aircraft carrier strike group led by the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier to the combat area in order to “stop the invasion and preserve the sovereignty of Ukraine.”  The context and scenario of the “exercise“ (the consonance of the names of countries, settlements, the names of political figures, the specifics of maneuvers, etc.) became for the Russian Federation a signal of the real preparation of NATO to the start of hostilities against Russia, as it happened similarly to the operation of the United Defender alliance grouping of forces before the intervention in Libya (the exercises Baltops-2010 and Frisian Flag-2010), when, after the maneuvers at the sea ranges, a full-scale operation followed to overthrow of the legitimate government of Muammar Gaddafi.
POLARIS 2021 was also a demonstration of NATO support to Kyiv in the event of an armed conflict with Russia and was supposed to push Kyiv to start hostilities with the Russian Federation, after which the intervention of the NATO was supposed. In principle, NATO was looking for an excuse to attack Russia, with the factor of surprise, so that Russia would not be ready for an adequate response.

Biden "Actively Pushing Us To Brink Of A Nuclear Holocaust": Tulsi Gabbard, In Tucker Interview    4 minutes of clarity

Tulsi Gabbard just campaigned for a Republican candidate for US Senate, a retired Army General of like mind.  Still "independent".
Retired Army Gen. Don Bolduc, who won the Republican primary and is campaigning against Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.), confirmed in a statement Wednesday that Gabbard will be stumping for him.
“We don’t agree on every issue, but I am honored to have the support of Tulsi Gabbard who shares my view that the status quo is broken, and we need a change of direction,” Bolduc said in a statement.
"Tulsi is a fellow change agent and independent-minded outsider willing to speak truth to power.”

Saudi Arabia unveils US oil demand
Riyadh said Washington sought to delay OPEC’s oil cut announcement for a month.  (After November 8, 2022?)

The House of Saud has a lot of expenses in the country.  Moon of Alabama (Germany)
A month ago OPEC+ finally fired back by decreasing its output aim by 2 million barrels per day. To some of them a price of oil around $80 per barrel is simply a budget requirement:
The quiet understanding emerging from [Biden's] trip was that Saudi Arabia would increase its production by about 750,000 barrels a day, and that the United Arab Emirates would follow suit with an additional 500,000, pushing down gas prices and worsening President Vladimir V. Putin’s ability to fund a war that was stretching much longer — and with much higher casualties — than Mr. Biden had expected.
But the production increases were fleeting. While Saudi Arabia boosted production significantly in July and August, it backed away from their promise to sustain those levels over the rest of 2022. Its leaders, and all of OPEC, worried that the specter of global recession was driving prices down, from $120 a barrel over the summer to below $80. Below that level, they fear, budgets have to be cut and social stability is threatened. So the Saudis decided they had to act.

Everything's fixed means it's been "fixed" like a game or match has been fixed--rigged to benefit insiders while the unwary onlookers and punters have been led to believe that it's "fair and open." That con job is the critical cover to cloak the fix/rigging.
If a market or regulatory system can't be rigged to benefit insiders, then it's broken because if it isn't profitable for insiders, it's neglected until it breaks.
