Continental Prison State

 Expecting Better,

I'm not the only one who thinks that sociopathic "royalty" arose to meet an ecological niche, created by farming, when stable food sources allowed for groups of way more than 150 people to form, and those groups floundered without a strongman "boss".
The groups organized under a compassionless "boss" could also overrun and slaughter other groups for their farms, when drought and famine hit.
This mode of societal organization has subsequently flourished until today.

The rule of compassion-free elites is reaching a crisis again, it's biggest crisis yet, and it is flummoxed as to a solution, since the best solutions involve the dissolution of the system of rule by the unfeeling. The "owners" (Carlin) are boxed-in, unusually constrained this time.
WW-3 is out, though they tried a version of it, The Global War On Terror, after 9/11/01.
The GWOT failed, but in a way, it was not meant to succeed. President Cheney designed perpetual war in countries with "easy oil" to prevent them from burning it, so it would still be there later for the globalists. Here we are. Growth is over, so with the rest of the crash of 2008, it will be officially-over-forever.
The current elites are supported by the zombie of industrial capitalism, drawing blood while it still walks and breathes. They have thrown together an enforced austerity gambit, involving global central-bank digital currency, into which any human can be included with some facial recognition software and a smartphone.
Any human can be excluded from that, too, by a poor social-credit rating, lack of the most recent genetic-engineering "vaccination" or voicing of dangerous racist and divisive political opinions.
This new system needs enough buy-in to be adequately cohesive, and a large enough fraction of any population, that those excluded really are isolated. It also needs a working internet and high-data cell phone networks. It needs these things continuously, and their continuation requires the continuation of a high complexity infrastructure, which is more vulnerable than most people realize. It may be impossible to extend it to rural areas.

Cash transactions must become an impossibility. Cash must be outlawed, somehow, or this albatross will not be able to get airborne.
That makes me want to use cash more and more, today, to make the elimination of cash economy less feasible.
Supporting cash economy is a little "Blow-against-the-Empire", of which we are capable.
Amazon doesn't take cash. "Oh, Bother!"

The alternative is something we humans have not yet done at scale, a large scale cooperative economy, based on local cooperative and civic economies.
It has been described, and it is technically feasible, but it is also vulnerable to a big, militarized, sociopathic-boss economy bombing it into oblivion.

Australia Has No Bill Of Rights, And It Shows, Caitlin Johnstone (whose comments section disappeared last month)
There’s a lot to criticize, from soldiers patrolling state borders and policing the streets of Sydney, to people being arrested for merely posting about lockdown protests on social media, to police accessing QR tracing information and firing projectile weapons at lockdown protesters, to news broadcasters naming and shaming Covid patients who violate isolation orders, to the frequently ineffective hotel quarantine system for travellers being replaced with purpose-built quarantine facilities and Orwellian surveillance apps. The states of both Victoria and New South Wales have begun moving toward reopening after the Delta variant proved zero-Covid goals unattainable even amid strict lockdowns, but will do so by adding Australia to the growing list of nations that have implemented the dangerously authoritarian policy of vaccine passports.
And there are other aspects of this trend which have nothing to do with Covid. One of the most controversial recent developments in Australia’s escalating government overreach (and potentially the most consequential in the long term) has been the hasty passing of a new law greatly expanding government surveillance powers which allows law enforcement to hack into people’s devices and collect, delete, or even add to and alter the data therein, as well as take control of their social media accounts, supposedly “in order to frustrate the commission of serious offences online.” ...
Bottom line the answer to the question of what needs to happen for Australia to move toward health is the same as the answer everywhere else: we’re just going to have to wake up. Human consciousness wants to awaken, and it will shake us in whatever ways we need to be shaken in order to make that happen. This is a hell of a time to be alive.

The Australian state of Victoria will “lock out” unvaccinated people from participating in the economy, Premier Dan Andrews has announced.
Victoria is currently under draconian lockdown restrictions, with residents of Melbourne – who make up the vast majority of the state’s population – living under a 9pm to 5am curfew, forbidden from leaving their homes except to work, buy groceries, or get a Covid-19 vaccination.
“There is going to be a vaccinated economy, and you get to participate in that if you are vaccinated,” Andrews stated.
“We're going to move to a situation where, to protect the health system, we are going to lock out people who are not vaccinated and can be.”
“If you’re making the choice not to get vaccinated, then you’re making the wrong choice,” he added..
...once Victoria reopens, “it’s not going to be safe for people who are not vaccinated to be roaming around the place spreading the virus.”
How "on board" with vaccine-passports does this sound?
Publicans are reportedly on board with the idea, with one telling ABC Australia that “whilst we certainly don’t like the idea of turning anyone away, we need to do whatever it takes to ensure the survival of our business.”

Connecting The Dots, Totalitarian Australia , is a 17 minute video about what has now become the prison-continent, an ideal testbed for draconian experiments in hybrid-electronic-police-state control of a historically "free-ish" society. (This might help Australia synchronize for a Chinese takeover. Don't tell the Aussies!)

China pre-positions for a massive populist fallback-position for the upcoming completion of "the global financial crisis".
Don't say "Cultural Revolution"!
Developments in China continue to confound market optimists, with new talk of a “profound revolution” towards a new target of “Common Prosperity”
Rather than simply react to these events, we analyze the history of Marxist-Leninist-Maoist Thought to try to put current moves under Xi Jinping Thought in a larger context
This also provides a framework of a hypothetical Marxist policy path forwards
We briefly discuss the meaning of Common Prosperity over time, and how it is a bellwether
...there has been a sharp reduction in credit to property developers along with the official message that “houses are for living in, not speculation”, and rental increase caps of 5% annually; under-18s have been limited to just 3 hours of computer gaming a week, in allotted slots; and private equity has been cut off from residential investment.
Beijing has also called for curbs on “excessive” income, and for the wealthy and profitable firms “to give back more to society.” (Tencent already pledged $15bn.) This is also matched by: a social campaign against excessive business drinking, “unpatriotic” karaoke songs, and celebrity culture; ‘Xi Jinping Thought’ made obligatory at all schools and universities; and, as Bloomberg puts it, controls on social media financial commentary - “China to Cleanse Online Content that ‘Bad Mouths’ its Economy”.
This has all taken place under the slogan of “Common Prosperity”. (And for those who need the market-facing implications of this first, please see What is to be done?)
Going further, commentary reposted by Chinese state media on 30 August stressed these changes are a “profound revolution” sweeping the country, warning anyone who resisted would face punishment. It added: “This is a return from the capital group to the masses of the people, and this is a transformation from capital-centred to people-centred,” marking a return to the original intention of the Communist Party, and “Therefore, this is a political change, and the people are becoming the main body of this change again, and all those who block this people-centred change will be discarded.”

Jim Kunstler: The Game In Review
About twenty minutes after the virus came on the scene, a vaccine magically materialized in the pharma labs. And after a completely half-assed testing routine, it was commissioned with an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), which permitted a wholesale vax-up of the whole population, and provided legal immunity from lawsuits for the pharma companies involved. The public greeted it with a grateful awe usually reserved for religious visitations. Treatment protocols with existing drugs were bad-mouthed and then officially suppressed. They had to be — and still have to be — to maintain that EUA, because the vaxes are not approved by the FDA (despite a recent FDA psy-op to fake-out the public otherwise).
Meanwhile, adverse reactions to the vaxes are literally off-the-charts (the decades-long vaccine safety charts, that is) and those numbers have been likewise suppressed. There are also plenty of reasons to suppose the vaxes create stealth vascular damage to multiple organs that could lead to death over a few years’ time. The prudent have taken note. The prudent are now in for getting cancelled out of daily life for their prudence. Most of these people are onto the game that is being played on them. They must be punished.
And here we are… in the season of collapse… when things traditionally fall apart… when zombies, ghouls, and monsters stalk the earth. The catch is: we-the-people are cast in the role of those zombies, et cetera. Yes, Oscar Wilde was right when he quipped that “life imitates art.” Twenty years of zombie movies have left us perfectly positioned to enter the new economy of the walking dead. That’s us. No more middle class for you, America! No more paychecks. No more blue light specials. No more auto loans. No more McHouses. And pretty soon, maybe, no more food even. What then? How about: Oh, just go die…
That seems to be the next chapter, if you let it be, for instance, if you let them vax you up. But you can actually choose to scramble and adapt to what’s coming: which is human life at a lower pitch… what I like to call a World Made by Hand. In that world, it is you who survive and the governments, the banks, and the power elites who do not. You can already begin to see it happen. Move toward it.

My Demographic:  Almost 70% of unvaccinated Americans would rather quit their job than submit to mandatory vaccination, a new poll found, as another survey suggests more than 50% of companies plan such requirements by the end of the year.  Some 35% of the 1,066 unvaccinated individuals polled by the Washington Post and ABC News last week said they would request a religious or medical exemption if their employer adopted a vaccine mandate, while 42% said they would quit.                                https://www.rt.com/usa/534187-americans-quit-jobs-mandatory-vaccination/

January 11, 2017  Fauci: ‘No doubt’ Trump will face surprise infectious disease outbreak     Anthony S. 1. Hi John, we have a small farm over here in seguin. Just started. We have bees, a big pond. Garden. Very interesting location. Doing it for our children may they have some semblance of “normalcy” in their future. Our first honey harvest is coming right up! Should be exciting. Mark us down for future bartering possibilities in the new normal we are creating. Thanks for all you do. Leah

    1. Thanks Leah,
I take local honey in my coffee every morning.
It might even help with allergies that way.
I don't have allergies badly, though I did as a kid.

  2. Dear John:

You note "Cash transactions must become an impossibility. Cash must be outlawed, somehow, or this albatross will not be able to get airborne."

I agree and always take out cash beforehand for everyday purchases. More and more places are getting annoyed about cash and would prefer you to tap a credit card.
However, for this and the increasing smartphone insanity gripping the world, I pray to Gaia to send another Carrington Event and wreak havoc on all houses!
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrington_Event

It happened in 1859 and should happen again - a solar electromagnetic storm would render all financial transactions, phone calls, Facebook "likes", Covid vaccination documentation, and Tweets, into static. Total chaos, an unexpected or "Black Swan" event of great magnitude. Oh Gaia, answer my prayer!

I live in Sydney, and yes lockdowns are in place and many small businesses (still quite a number in Australia) will be wiped out, a boon for big corporations.

    All the best,

    Quercus

    1. Hi Quercus, I pray something like "God's will be done", assuming universal wisdom and compassion as the source. It's not that a Carrington event hasn't crossed my mind a thousand times, or a nuclear EMP warhead in the ionosphere, things like that. Polar shift prelude would probably work, too.
      sigh...

  3. Hi John, I'm wondering what you think of smart cities and do you think we are heading closer to them? It's a great way to put a large amount of people together, control them and everything around them...that is if they are "good" people or bad people, unvaxed or vaxxed.

  4. Dr. Day, with you all the way. Nothing new under the sun. Seems they are playing Soviet style collective farming and booting the famers off the land. UN SDG's, Technocracy Rising, the 4th Industrial Revolution, transhumanism, digital economy.. Meanwhile the mad king has no clothes and neither do assorted emperors throughout the kingdom. We need to just all turn our backs on it.

    1. This is a time to hunker down, not to engage the power structure.
I think the powerful will lose control of the narrative as the financial system goes bad, which they have kept inflated since 2009, with extreme measures, and also when the vaccine-or-no-job narrative breaks. The current COVID vaccines are doing worse over time, and it looks as if they may be turning the corner to ADE (antibody dependent enhancement of viral pathogenicity). That was the problem with every coronavirus vaccine tried on animals since around 2001-2002. More vaccinated animals died in the end.

Give me clue. Red plastic dragon? I'm grasping at straws.
