  A leaked document from the Israeli Ministry of Intelligence to an Israeli news site on Monday lays out a plan to transfer more than 2 million Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt’s Sinai desert, reports Joe Lauria.
​  The document from the Ministry of Intelligence is being downplayed by Israeli officials, who are saying it is not being actively considered while the ground operation is underway.  The document was first published in Hebrew by the news website Sicha Mekomit. The article’s blurb says:

​  The screenshots identified the offender as ‘Dagestan Morning’, which has been exposed as a Ukrainian intelligence service project set up to stir ethnic and religious unrest in Russia.
​  A post in the screenshot proclaimed “We hate Jews” and “we will not let them live in Dagestan or the Caucasus,” claiming that “Jewish refugees” bound for the Russian republic were on board the regularly scheduled flight from Tel Aviv to Makhachkala.
​  On Sunday afternoon, over 150 rioters broke onto the runway of the airport in the Dagestani capital and tried to storm the plane. Police were able to restore order after heavy clashes that left more than 20 people – including nine officers – injured. Sixty rioters were arrested.

​  Believe it or not, many Jewish people are taking a stand for Gaza rather than their own Israeli government in the ongoing Israeli war on Palestine.
​  One of them is Benjy Sherer, a Jewish young man who helps people deal with and overcome trauma and pain, and who also says he does not stand with Israel on this matter because his heart is with the people of Gaza who now face genocide at the hands of Israel and the West.
​  "I do not stand with Israel at all on what's going on," Sherer stated in a recent video he shared to TikTok that is also available for viewing on X – watch below. "And I'm finally starting to realize, for lack of a better term, how brainwashed I've been."
​  As a Jewish man, Sherer was raised and taught to "love Israel." He attended both Jewish elementary and Jewish high school, and was raised with a mindset that Israel, whoever and whatever that actually means in the modern context, is the rightful owner of all that land.

  This "rumor" refuses to go away, and I have it substantiated by a source with regional NATO ties. The US is deep and dirty in the tepid invasion of Gaza and is taking losses on the outskirts of the fortified areas. This is more than "supporting Israel". This is dead American soldiers, soon to need explaining.
​  Hamas Warns U.S. ‘Entering the Battle’ in Gaza as 5000 American Troops Participate in New Offensives
  The U.S. Military has deployed 5000 personnel to participate in Israeli operations in Gaza against local militia groups, according to reports from a number of Middle Eastern media sources. This has coincided with the announcement that the Israeli military had expanded its ground operations in Gaza following initial setbacks and the loss of armoured vehicles to the Hamas militia’s heavy weapons. As Israeli political leaders have increasingly warned of a long war, Iranian sources claimed the new offensives were intended “to split the Gaza Strip into two or three sections and cut off the connection among the Palestinian resistance forces before launching the next stage of the war.” These reports follow a statement from retired U.S. Army Colonel Douglas MacGregor on October 25 that preceding Israeli special forces raids into Gaza had been accompanied by American special forces. “In the last 24 hours or so, some of our Special Ops forces and Israeli Special Ops forces went into Gaza to reconnoiter, to plan for where they might want to go to free hostages and make an impact, and they were shot to pieces and took heavy losses, as I understand it,” he stated.
​  Member of the Hamas political leadership Ali Barakeh indicated that the party perceived the United States as becoming increasingly heavily involved in the Israeli war effort, stating that the Palestinian political group: “didn’t expect this much of a response” from Washington. “An Israeli response? Yes, we expected that... But what we’re seeing now is the entrance of the U.S. into the battle, and this we didn’t count on.” Although not confirming its operations in Gaza, the U.S. has moved to expand military facilities in Israel, struck Hamas aligned forces in Syria and Iraq, and massively escalated its military presence in the region while replenishing Israeli military stocks.   Poison gas is a war crime. What forces have been using poison-gas, Israeli and/or US Special Forces?
​  Al Mayadeen's sources revealed on Sunday that the Israeli Occupation Forces had been deploying poison gas prior to their incursions into the Gaza Strip.
The source explained that the IOF had attempted to penetrate the Gaza Strip four hours after deploying the toxic gas, noting that this strategy was "used in the main areas of operation, specifically in Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun [Gaza]."
  This comes after Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that an Israeli infantry unit fell into an ambush set up by the Resistance in Soufa.

​  With a gentle nudge from WION, the Indian global broadcaster, who requested an interview early this morning, I found several of the latest developments in the Mideast conflict worthy of the close attention of Russia watchers and of the wider international community. I used the interview to mention these as you will find once the link is posted below.
​  In particular, I pointed to the number one news item in Russia today: the restoration of air services at the Makhachkala airport in Dagestan, a region of the Russian Federation just north of the Caucasus which has an overwhelmingly Muslim population, but also a noteworthy minority of some 30,000 Jews, mostly concentrated in the ancient city of Derbent where a Jewish community has existed since the early days of the diaspora many centuries ago. The airport was closed following a mob attack on a just landed plane from Tel Aviv, with which Dagestan has regular direct flights. They were looking for Israeli passport holders and Jews, whom they wrongly believed would be settled in Dagestan, against their wishes.  The mob clashed with airport workers and law enforcement officers before being arrested and taken away.
​  This ugly development underscored the importance of an unrelated meeting by President Putin yesterday with the heads of all the officially recognized religions in the Russian Federation. He issued a call for mutual respect and for multi-national, multi-confessional solidarity of Russia today in the face of the provocations coming from the Middle East. For reasons of domestic peace, Russia is observing neutrality in the Hamas-Israel conflict.
​  As I mention in the interview, the tensions generated by Israel’s ongoing atrocities in Gaza may inflame ethnic and religious disturbances in all countries where there are mixed populations.​..
​..I use this occasion to praise UN General Secretary Antonio Gutteres for his bold criticism directed against the Israeli authorities for the suffering they inflicted on the Palestinians during their decades-long occupation of their lands, and for repeat calls to restore deliveries of food, water and fuel to the Gaza. We have not witnessed such a stand against the United States-led Collective West since the days of Dag Hammarskjold and we all know where Hammarskjold’s courage got him.

They are not yet disabling Israel’s ports and airfields. The Russian military assessment is that for the time being the Hamas and Hezbollah capacity remains intact and in reserve. ​..A Moscow source confirms the US is the priority Russian target because the IDF cannot continue in Gaza as the US capabilities exhaust themselves. He believes that US over-exertion in the Middle East will accelerate the Russian military’s move on to the offensive on the Ukrainian battlefield, and shorten thereby that war. The public statements for mediation between the warring parties issued by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his ministry are not the full Russian story, the source believes...

The Syrian and Ukrainian wars have made this very deep. I expect the Foreign Ministry’s public line will change when the Palestinian casualties reach 20,000. As the official Israeli statements against the Russian government already make clear, they know what is going on behind the scenes. It’s not just the Caucasian Muslims now but most Russians feel there’s been enough crying support for Israel. Lavrov will catch up.”

The Biden White House is now making a show of wanting a more 'humanitarian' approach and has asked Israel to ensure only "surgical" strikes, and to allow the Strip access to aid.

​  Human Rights Watch has strongly rejected claims that the death toll released by the Gaza Health Ministry cannot be trusted, following comments by Israel and the US President.
​  “I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed. I’m sure innocents have been killed, and it’s the price of waging a war,” Biden said yesterday. “But I have no confidence in the number that the Palestinians are using.”
​  Biden made his comments after Gaza’s Health Ministry said the Israeli bombing of Gaza had killed 7,028 Palestinians, including 2,913 children, because of Israeli bombings. ​  Scholars of genocide have called the campaign in the besieged enclave “a textbook case of genocide”.

..The release underscored that the US strikes were not related to the Palestine-Israel conflict. The statement added that the US does not seek an escalation of the conflict in Palestine.
"These narrowly-tailored strikes in self-defense [of illegal, oil-stealing American military bases in countries that are no threat to the USA] were intended solely to protect and defend US personnel in Iraq and Syria. They are separate and distinct from the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, and do not constitute a shift in our approach to the Israel-Hamas conflict," the release said...
  In addition to the 900 recently-deployed troops, there are roughly 35,000 US troops deployed in the Middle East, according to Responsible Statecraft. Most of those forces are in Gulf bases, far from any fighting; however, roughly 3,400 remain stationed in Syria and Iraq.
  Last year, the Ministry of Oil in Syria accused the US and its "mercenaries" of stealing Syrian oil. The Syrian government has repeatedly called out the illegal American presence in the country as a violation to its sovereignty.

..(Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria) Zakharova confirmed the start of the talks with Hamas on Thursday.  She said: “I can also say and confirm that representatives of the relevant Palestinian movement are in Moscow. As for contacts, we will inform you additionally.”  She has also disclosed that since the war began, nine thousand Russian passport holders have returned to Russia from Israel; and that at least fifteen Russian passport holders among the Hamas hostages have been killed in the IDF airstrikes.
  At the same time as Marzouq’s meetings, Husam Badran issued a statement to the Russian state news medium, Sputnik. “Russia,” Badran said, “is able to play an important role in ending the war between Israel and the Gaza Strip, and delivering aid to the Palestinian exclave. Hamas values Russia’s role on the international stage, especially use of veto in the UN Security Council against the United States. But Russia can play a greater role in ending the aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip and applying international pressure to deliver urgent aid to our people in the Gaza Strip.”  
  What Hamas means by “greater role” for Russia has not been disclosed publicly yet.  It is known that Hamas is willing to negotiate the release of “non-military” hostages, including Israelis holding Russian passports, through Iran.    This is conditional on the IDF lifting its siege on Gaza and allowing sufficient supplies into all parts of the territory.
  The “military hostages” are being held in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. There are more than 6,000 of the latter; there may be fewer than 200 hostages in Gaza, as up to 50 have been killed by Israeli bombing...
..The Palestinian strategy against Israel is aimed at destroying Israel’s capacity to survive in its present state in a long war.
  This means attacking the invincibility of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and their so-called Iron Dome defence; this began with the cross-border offensive on October 7, and continues with daily drone and artillery attacks on targets inside Israel, as well as resistance to IDF incursions in Gaza.
  The plan also means exposing the weakness of the state’s infrastructure and economy; extending the battlefield across all of Israel’s territory – the ports, power plants and electricity grid, communications, and financial markets —  making the cost of occupation of the Arab territories unendurable. In a long war, two of Israel’s leading exports earning more than 40% of the state’s trade —  diamonds and tourism — face ruin.* ...
..The Israelis and the Jewish diaspora comprehend this reluctantly. For them,  the short war must be correspondingly shorter. This means the genocide of at least a million Palestinians in lives and displacement.
  The war to do that has now become an international war – and this is a war the US cannot sustain. As a Pentagon insider said publicly this week, “because there are so many draws on the logistics and support infrastructure of the Pentagon, we’re not prepared to go in in a concerted way. What we are seeing right now is death by a thousand cuts. Our adversaries know we are stretched so they are going to make us stretch even more, so we can respond even less.”  
  The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Maria Zakharova, acknowledged the point in Moscow on Thursday: US naval, air force,  and marine reinforcements deployed around Israel and Gaza are “American tactics to strengthen their own security (this is how it should be interpreted) at someone else’s expense.” They are backfiring on Washington’s capacity to defend US forces in the Mediterranean, the Red Sea, the Persian Gulf, and in land bases in Syria, Iraq and Jordan.  “On the contrary,” Zakharova added, the US military deployment “will further rock the situation in the Middle East, create additional tension that can spill out beyond the region.”  
  Zakharova’s warning came in the Moscow afternoon. By then Russian Foreign Ministry officials had held meetings with a Hamas delegation, and officials from Iran, Egypt,  and Kuwait. Across the city at the same time, President Vladimir Putin held telephone talks with Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The Kremlin communiqué reported: “Russia and Turkiye have practically overlapping positions.”

  Putin Warns Gaza War Could Spread Beyond Middle East
  On the same day that a Hamas delegation made a rare visit to Moscow to discuss the crisis in Gaza, President Vladimir Putin warned in a speech that the conflict has the potential to spread well beyond the Middle East.
  In a Wednesday meeting at the Kremlin, he decried Israel's indiscriminate airstrikes on the Gaza Strip which have left over 7,000 people, mostly civilians and at least half of them women and children, dead. "Our task today, our main task, is to stop the bloodshed and violence," said Putin, as cited from an official transcript.
"Otherwise, further escalation of the crisis is fraught with grave and extremely dangerous and destructive consequences."

​  Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has warned Israel and its allies against waging a war on Iran as it could potentially trigger a third world war.
"A third world war is not excluded. It may start from there [the Middle East]. How? If they [Israel and the United States] stage a war on Iran. It is not about Iran irritating them, but about them irritating Iran​."

  Prosecutor Livid After FBI Refused To Pursue 'Credible' Biden-Ukraine Corruption Allegations, Grassley Reveals 40 Informants
  In a Tuesday letter, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed that the FBI had more than 40 informants on the Biden family over an extended period of time, but that most avenues of investigation were thwarted.
  "This letter is based on years of investigation, including the provision of information, records, and allegations from multiple Justice Department whistleblowers that indicate there is - and has been - an effort among certain Justice Department and FBI officials to improperly delay and stop full and complete investigative activity into the Biden family, including but not limited to FD-1023s referencing the Biden family," wrote Grassley.
