Apprehensive,
Historical analogies fall short when looking at the current warfare developing in Occupied-Palestine/Israel.
"Pearl Harbor" is much cited, and one must consider the "new Pearl Harbor", which was 9/11 in a similar light. Both were secretly arranged to allow American leadership to engage in forms of global warfare, at the initial cost of "somebody else" slaughtering thousands of unsuspecting Americans. I think this analogy is not quite right, because "America", "the empire" is on its back foot now, losing hegemony, and doubling down on a new war as each prior new-war fails. Afghanistan gives way to Ukraine, and now to Israel/Palestine.
The Sarajevo assassination of Archduke Ferdinand in 1914, which triggered WW-1 through interlocking treaties, might be a better fit, but that remains to be seen.
At least empires were lost in WW-1, which seems ready to happen again at this point in history.
I am also reminded of the Tet Offensive of 1968, when Vietcong irregular forces, living throughout South Vietnam, put on their black pajamas, loaded their AK-47s and took to every street at once. There was warfare in every South Vietnamese city and many fell to the Vietcong forces. Americans were shocked and saw that they had been lied to. They saw that the war was a popular war against Americans. They saw that it could not be won and that their sons, grandsons, and boys from their neighborhoods were being killed for nothing.
The Vietcong, those boys and girls from Vietnamese neighborhoods, essentially all gave up their lives to prove this point to Americans. They were "victorious" in death.
A lot of the Palestinian young adults I have seen in videos appear untrained and inexperienced, like they just got invited into the action that day.
We can see that Israeli PM Netanyahu is rallying Jewish Israelis behind himself and the army, based upon the deaths and capture of so many Jewish Israeli citizens and soldiers. He might expect to further direct the Israeli military against Iran and Lebanon after he destroys Gaza, as he has said that he will do. This Israeli air force has demolished multiple high rise apartment buildings in Gaza City already.
The US military is pledging support for the Israeli military actions, and sending the aircraft carrier task force Gerald Ford to the area, arriving in a few days. This force could attack Iran, Lebanon, Syria, and/or Gaza, and would serve as a trigger for escalation if attacked by any state actor.

Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy made an impassioned plea announcing his opinion that Israel should receive US backing for Netanyahu’s war on Hamas. Kennedy tweeted,
“This ignominious, unprovoked, and barbaric attack on Israel must be met with world condemnation and unequivocal support for the Jewish state’s right to self-defense. We must provide Israel with whatever it needs to defend itself — now. As President, I’ll make sure that our policy is unambiguous so that the enemies of Israel will think long and hard before attempting aggression of any kind.
“I applaud the strong statements of support from the Biden White House for Israel in her hour of need. However, the scale of these attacks means it is likely that Israel will need to wage a sustained military campaign to protect its citizens. Statements of support are fine, but we must follow through with unwavering, resolute, and practical action. America must stand by our ally throughout this operation and beyond as it exercises its sovereign right to self-defense.”
Scott Ritter quickly responded to Kennedy’s assertion tweeting,
“I like RFKJr. I think he’s the best choice for POTUS. He’s positioned himself as the peace candidate. And this is the tweet I fear may have sunk his chances. Israel’s policies regarding Palestine are indefensible. Bobby should be promoting an equitable peace settlement. Not war.”

RFK Jr. could go farther and declare "independence" from Israel, as well, though it could mean assassination for him. (Libertarian, or a new independent party?)
"I'm here to declare himself an independent candidate for president of the United States. That's not all. I'm here to join you in making a new declaration of independence for our entire nation. We declare independence from the corporations that have hijacked our government. And we declare independence from Wall Street, from Big Tech, from Big Pharma, from Big Ag, from the military contractors and their lobbyists. And we declare independence from the cynical elites who betray our hope and who amplify our divisions. And finally, we declare independence from the two political parties," Kennedy told a crowd of supporters at Philadelphia's Independence Mall this afternoon.https://www.zerohedge.com/political/watch-live-rfk-jr-abandon-democrats-third-party-reset-course-our-nation
Russia’s ex-president blames US for Israel-Hamas fighting (Medvedev is guarded, but what does he mean to imply?)
Two years ago there was a successful deployment of underground barriers in with sensors - to alert terrorists breaches. Israel has one of the most advanced and high tech armies, how come there was zero response to the border and fence breaching??
I served in the IDF 25 years ago, in the intelligence forces. There’s no way Israel did not know of what’s coming. A cat moving alongside the fence is triggering all forces. So this??
What happened to the “strongest army in the world”?
How come border crossings were wide open??
Something is VERY WRONG HERE, something is very strange, this chain of events is very unusual and not typical for the Israeli defense system.
Egyptian Intelligence Warned 'Something Big' Was Coming, But This Was Ignored: Israeli Media
This is a Russian report from a Greek language site, detailing the (successful) first 48 hours of the Hamas breakout offensive against Israeli forces. Google Translate will work.
Hamas is credited with capturing more territory in one day than Ukraine captured in 3 months of counter-offensive this summer (a dramatic assertion).
Commenting on Saturday’s escalation between Israel and the Hamas militant group from Gaza, Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel that these events were predictable. “This is what Washington and its allies should have dealt with,” he explained, adding that the Israel-Palestine conflict has lasted for decades, with the US being a “key player there.”
According to Medvedev, instead of this, “these morons got involved in our region and are actively helping neo-Nazis, pitting two close peoples against one another.”
The former president brought his remarks to a conclusion with the thought that “apparently only a civil war on US territory” would help quell “America’s manic passion for igniting conflicts all around the planet.”

Greek language War News asserts that Hamas is driving to create a bridge between the Palestinian West Bank and the Gaza Strip, to "cut Israel in two", as opposed to the current division of Palestine.
More Greek reporting that Israeli counterattack in Kisufim failed, and there is ongoing fighting in multiple "Israeli settlements" within expropriated Palestinian lands.
Israel has bombarded southern Lebanon with artillery after mortar attacks by Hezbollah upon Israeli military positions within Lebanese territory, occupied by the Israeli military since 1967. This is taken to be a warning to Israel about escalating against Gaza to the point that Hezbollah will attack from the north in support.
Christine sent this: Hezbollah is considered by far the world’s most powerful non state military force today, with assessments of its capabilities consistently pointing to a high degree of discipline and effective command and control significantly surpassing levels seen in Arab armies which Israel faced during the Cold War. Having clashed with Wahhabist terrorist organisations, with Israel, and with Turkish forces which frequently intervened to support jihadist groups in northern Syria, the militia has experience combating a much wider range of adversaries than the majority of state militaries. Israeli reports have commented particularly positively on the militia’s special forces and officer corps, which many sources consider to function in a league of its own among Arab forces in the region. Although proving capable of out of area operations, much like the Korean People’s Army Hezbollah’s main strength remains its ability to wage war on its own soil in Southern Lebanon where support from the local population and an extensive tunnel network make its positions among the best defended in the Arab world. They are also key to housing its arsenal of hundreds of thousands of rockets, drones, and ballistic and cruise missiles, which has grown increasingly sophisticated and more difficult to defend against for Israeli forces. While Israel has frequently mounted major military operations in Syria and against various militia groups in the Gaza Strip since 2006, the fact that it has refrained from doing so against Hezbollah since 2006 has borne a testament to the militia’s power and the deterrence value which it has gained through massive capacity for retaliation.
Israel escalates, opening a second front against Hezbollah:
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a brief statement on Monday that its helicopters are currently striking in Lebanese territory. No further details were provided.
Earlier, the IDF said a “number of armed suspects” who “infiltrated” into Israel from Lebanon were killed, and that IDF soldiers were searching the area.
The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) peacekeepers said in a statement on Monday that it has reported explosions near Al-Boustan in southwest Lebanon.
There are also reports IDF heavy armor has been seen headed to northern border with Lebanon.

There is a loud call among Israelis that this incursion by Hamas had to be allowed, if not facilitated by the Israeli army and intelligence forces (9/11 model).
A year ago there was a military operation in Gaza to prepare for such events, and ongoingly there are trainings for these kinds of scenarios. This raises serious questions about Israeli intelligence. What happened? Two years ago there was a successful deployment of underground barriers in with sensors - to alert terrorists breaches. But Why Were Border Crossings Reportedly Wide Open? Weary World Sees All Telltale Signs Of Planned Events With Planned Outcomes
Israel's defense minister has as of Monday ordered a "complete siege" of Gaza which alarmingly includes cutting off all supply of electricity, fuel, and food, but even water for a densely packed population of 3+ million people in the strip.
Yoav Gallant said, "I have given an order – Gaza will be under complete siege." He added: "We are fighting barbarians and will respond accordingly."
At the same time a statement from energy minister Israel Katz confirmed, "I instructed that the water supply from Israel to Gaza be cut off immediately."
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reportedly retaken all the southern towns and settlements which were hit hardest by Saturday's shock invasion of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) militants from Gaza.

“All the places that Hamas hides in, operates in, we will turn them into ruins,” Netanyahu said. “Get out of there now.“What happened today has never been seen before in Israel, and I will ensure it never happens again. The entire government supports this decision. The IDF will immediately use all its power to destroy Hamas’ capabilities,” he added, warning that Israel is headed for a “difficult” war that is set to “take time.”

What they are saying here is that, not only is the cationic liposome (think Lipid nanoparticle) a known transfection agent, but it works three times better if you have a protein around that contains a nuclear localisation signal. A Very Relevant Update to #NIHGate
Over a year ago I posted the following article which related to the fact that a friend of mine had put in a Freedom of Information (FOI) request in relation to the scandal of the fact that the bully boys from the NIH - in particular Eric Freed - had used their political clout to get a perfectly good paper retracted. The paper that was the subject of this request was the one that I referred to earlier in this article (and many times before), which showed that the spike protein got into the nucleus and suppressed p53 therefore potentially providing a significant risk of cancer to any recipients of this gene therapy technology.

Ha. Walgreens striking because as an individual complained " I've had to give a hundred vaccines in a day." They don't have a problem with killing you. they just don't wanna be overworked doing so. The headline reads about putting patients lives at risk but that is the least of their concerns. More garbage people over at Kaiser hiding behind the patients again while sheerpost tells you over and over how the big corporations exploit their workers. These are the same people who wouldn't let you see your dying grandmother because of covid. They are the ones who administered remdesivir even after the other recipients died one after another and they did it because they are immune from liability and they know it.
ReplyDeleteThe point to take away is that the workers in the medical system have been abused by the corporations so much that they are striking. That is important, because it is real. They are abused, and a lot dropped out for various insults. I was fired for vaccine refusal 2 years ago, but I had been able to prepare somewhat for years, though I did not envision that.
ReplyDeleteThe abuse is real. Abused workers cannot physically provide patient care, but they might be able to at half the load.
The Wobblies had it correctly and that is that a company should be owned by it's workers. Warmonger Bernie Sanders claims to be the spiritual heir to Eugene Debs but never will give voice to any of Debs' most heart felt ideology. Companies owned by workers would not be subject to the same lock step insanity that all of the corporations exhibit whether it is covidian nonsense, DEI garbage, or climate based totalitarianism. And now that the unvaccinated have gone bye bye the only ones left are the least of the lot. Employee ownership and the resultant transparency would very likely not have allowed any of this to occur. The coup de grace was tying employee retirements to the stock market, giving each and every employee a vested interest in the rich man's money machine. After that happened you suddenly found people with no previous connection to Wall St. worrying about how well it was doing. And so they came to love big brother.
