On the 3rd of February nine western countries either closed their embassies in Turkey or issued travel warnings to their citizens that they should leave Turkey. On the 6th of February a massive 7.8 quake on the Richter scale hit early in the morning with a 7.5 earth quake following twelve hours later. So far the body count between Turkey and Syria is above 41,000 dead with the damage in billions of dollars.

Whether the Turkish earthquake, primed by creeping tectonic plates, was nudjed by the use of HAARP (High Altitude Auroral Research Project) technology, which can be used to cut-open a gap in the ionosphere, to allow a flow of charged solar particles in, which deliver some energy into the earth's crust, remains an open question. I have hesitated to raise it, but it persists, and is considered likely by some who have much more information about its capabilities. The 2016 assassination attempt against Turkish President Erdogan is widely believed to have been instigated by Turkish officers loyal to American interests.
Turkey, holding the Straits of the Bosphorus, between Europe and Asia, is a critical transit hub, including for natural gas from the Pars fields, held by Iran and Qatar. These comprise the largest collection of natural gas in the world.
There were competing pipeline plans to pipe the gas to Europe, and the US funded the war in Syria to block the Iranian/Syrian pipeline, which would have also served Turkish interests. Turkey lost its trade with neighboring Syria, which has badly hurt the Turkish economy and currency, when it complied with US plans to overthrow the Assad government.
It appears that a lot of medium and long term Turkish interests align with getting Pars gas to Europe, and having good relations with Syria and Russia. It is notable that Erdogan appears to be alive due to a last minute call from Russia about the military coup against him. If the earthquake was nudged by the western military, will it accelerate Turkey's move away from US interests, and towards the interests of Turkey and her neighbors?
