Logical Conclusions

Market Participants,

I'll sell you a "Micro Apartment" in Hong Kong for $US 500,000. It's the size of a compact car parking space (almost).

This is actually enough room to do everything one person really needs to do. Just look. (Well, you might call it a "coffin cubicle"):
Coffin cubicles, cage homes, in Hong Kong

"Bubble", can you see a bubble if you are in it? Housing bubble in Austin? San Francisco? Whaddaya mean? Charles Hugh Smith does graphs and words...

The Global Order Myth, Thanks Eleni
The panic about Trumps bad manners would be spun very differently if he openly supported American military control of the world, to make it safe for global multinational corporate rulers, the folks who brought the (pictured above) economic miracle to Hong Kong, and a Wal-Mart to your area.
“There are a lot of killers,” Trump retorted. “We’ve got a lot of killers. What, you think our country is so innocent?” In offering this one brief remark, Trump thereby committed the ultimate heresy.

Benevolent Global Capitalists buy water distribution system, to help Greeks out of that frying pan they are in.

"What Should the Future Form of Money Be?" A central bank representative gives a speech. What did he actually say?
Scroll down to the part with the "future of money'' header. He seems to accept the inevitability of a completely electronic monetary format, though he acknowledges the expense it entails to maintain and protect such a vast and pervasive network. He makes an argument, which I believe favors "nationalization" of the creation of money, taking that exorbitant-privilege away from ordinary bankers and reserving it for sovereign nations (well, their central bankers, not the politicians, as goes-without-saying...) Consider his story of the poor guy, trying to get some cash in the electronic future. I'd take it differently from his spin. Thanks Tom.

Vladimir Putin, meets with the creator of "Ethereum", the currently surging electronic transaction system, which is not just a monetary unit, like Bitcoin, but a versatile system, which doesn't need "banking" as we now know it (but does perform those functions). President Putin is interested in developing a system like this for Russia.

"Peak Economic Delusion Signals Coming Crisis": The question is not “when” we will enter collapse; we are already in the midst of an economic collapse. The real question is, when will the uneducated and the biased finally notice?

"Falling Interest Rates Have Postponed Peak-Oil", Gail Tverberg (Within this postponement of reset, all future economic activity has been postulated on economy growing as it has for 70 years, and that assumption is leveraged with as much debt as it can theoretically sustain (and more). That's sold to your retirement plan. Biggest Ponzi Ever...

The War in Afghanistan is a Racket", The proverbial self-licking-ice-cream-cone just keeps needing more and more money to protect the world from Afghan extremists...

Self-licking-ice-cream-cone sends 4000 more US troops to Afghanistan, and vows to support useless Al-Tanf garrison (illegally) within Syria, where some moderate-terrorists are getting trained, as real fighting inconveniently reaches the area.

Oh... The US has just moved a long range missile system emplacement from Jordan to al-Tanf, Syria. Now what? (Big forward projection of strategic strike capability without placing USAF personnel at risk.)

US-backed moderate rebels use US-supplied artillery to devastate Raqqah, ahead of ground assault, while US airstrikes inflict enough collateral-damage on trapped families for the UN to point it out.

Germany and Austria react to new US sanctions against Russia, which seem to be part of the pipelanistan-wars:
Gabriel and Kern also accused the U.S. of having ulterior motives in seeking to enforce the energy blockade, which they said is trying to help American natural gas suppliers at the expense of their Russian rivals. And they warned the threat of fining European companies participating in the Nord Stream 2 project "introduces a completely new, very negative dimension into European-American relations." "Europe's energy supply is a matter for Europe, and not for the United States of America.
