Only Censoring Truth

 Respecting Life,

This is short, not long. ‘What happened to us is beyond imagination’, in Palestine, by Dr Marwan Asmar
A woman narrates how she escaped alive while her house was being bulldozed...
“What happened to us is beyond imagination,” said a displaced person in Gaza.
“It was like anybody who moved outside the home was shot and left outside for the cats,” the woman who moved from the north of the Gaza Strip continued.
  It happened so fast
“A youth was sent by our neighbors to see if we were alright and it happened all so fast. He was talking to me just as I opened the door and he was shot dead right there, in front of me,” she added.
“He was left outside the house we were living for nine days,”
she told Al Jazeera TV channel.
But this was only the beginning of a chain of events that eventually landed her in the Abu Yousef Al Najar Hospital in Rafah in the south of Gaza where 1.4 million internally displaced refugees are now located thanks to the Israeli army.
“The Israeli army started bulldozing right on top of our heads but miraculously, me and mother, were able to leave the house alive. At the time, the bodies of other martyrs were scattered outside,” she continued.
The situation was scary and chaotic.  “Our neighbors were forced to bury their martyrs inside their houses and this applied to many people, for there was no way anyone could bury their dead outside of their homes because of the intensity of the bombardment.”

Biden administration officials knew back in October that Israel was bombing buildings in Gaza without having “solid intelligence” that they were military targets and continued to provide full support for the Israeli military operations anyway, The Washington Post reported on Monday.
The report said that a briefing took place at the White House on October 27, three weeks into the brutal Israeli military campaign. Due to the sheer destruction in Gaza, it was clear Israel was bombing the Strip indiscriminately, and a report from +972 Magazine published in November revealed Israel was actually intentionally hitting civilian targets.
Israeli intelligence sources told +972 that Israel targeted what it called “power targets,” which include civilian infrastructure, such as high-rise apartment buildings, banks, universities, and other public buildings. The sources said that the Israeli military would also approve strikes that kill large numbers of civilians in an attempt to target only one Hamas member.

US Supreme Court Justice Kentanji Brown Jackson Just Defended The US Government Violating the 1st Amendment During Arguments in Case Sen Rand Paul Calls “the most consequential free speech case in U.S. history”
“My biggest concern is that your view has the First Amendment hamstringing the government in significant ways at the most important time. I mean, what would you have the government do?", she asked the Lousiana Solicitor General Benjamin Aguinaga.
"I’ve heard you say a couple of times that the government can post its own speech, but in my hypothetical, you know, kids, this is not safe. 'Don’t do it' is not gonna get it done. So, I guess some might say that the government actually has a duty to take steps to protect the citizens of this country, and you seem to be suggesting that that duty cannot manifest itself in the government, encouraging or even pressuring platforms to take down harmful information."
[That is, quite literally, the entire point of the First Amendment - of the entire Bill of Rights.]
  Senator Rand Paul wrote:
Today, SCOTUS heard Murthy v. Missouri, the most consequential free speech case in U.S. history. This isn’t just about social media companies; it’s a critical examination of government overreach. The Biden administration and FBI’s efforts to influence Big Tech into silencing dissent tramples on the 1st Amendment. Our focus must be on preventing government censorship, not compelling private entities to act as censors. This case could redefine our free speech.

My first experience with Google-censorship was in the spring of 2016, when I was still sending my "blog" out as a bcc email compilation of news snippets and links, much as it still is. Google started blocking it as I was running stories about the Sanders-voter disenfranchisement by the DNC.
Nothing was good enough for Google, so I started www.johndayblog.com as a work-around.
3 days after Trump was elected, the bcc email blocking stopped, so I continued both formats. The "problem" arose in late summer of 2018, and again in the summer of 2020, clearly related to the US election cycle, and vanishing days after the votes each time.
On 2/22/22, just before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, I was reporting the Russian recognition of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics. I sent out "Two New Countries", which got my blog taken down and our email taken down quite suddenly. Google censorship was on a hair trigger that day.
Jenny and I eventually got our email back, and the Google blog reinstated, and Google even put that post back up, but has removed some others since then.
I no longer send the bcc news emails, but I have the blog mirrored in Substack as drjohnsblog.substack.com , which reaches a lot more people.

The original idea, as cooked-up by departed State Department strategist Victoria Nuland, was to make Ukraine a problem for Russia, but instead we made it a problem for everybody else, especially ourselves in the USA, since it looked like an attempt to kick-start World War Three. Now she is gone, but the plans she laid apparently live on.
Our Congress so far has resisted coughing up another $60-billion for the Ukraine project — most of it to be laundered through Raytheon (RTX), General Dynamics, and Lockheed Martin — so instead “Joe Biden” sent Ukraine’s President Zelensky a few reels of Laurel and Hardy movies. The result was last week’s prank: four groups of mixed Ukraine troops and mercenaries drawn from sundry NATO members snuck up to the border of Russia’s Belgorod region to capture a nuclear weapon storage facility while Russia held its presidential election. I suppose it looked good on the war-gaming screen.
Alas, the raid was a fiasco. Russian intel was on it like white-on-rice. The raiders met ferocious resistance and retreated into a mine-field — this was the frontier, you understand, between Kharkov (Ukr) and Belgorod (Rus) — where they were annihilated. The Russian election concluded Sunday without further incident. V.V. Putin, running against three other candidates from fractional parties, won with 87 percent of the vote. He’s apparently quite popular...
..Specifically, Missouri v. Biden is about the government’s efforts to coerce social media into censoring any and all voices that question official dogma. The case is about birthing the new concept — new to America, anyway — known as “misinformation” — that is, truth about what our government is doing that cannot be allowed to enter the public arena, making it very difficult for ordinary citizens to question authority. The government will apparently argue that they were not coercing, they were just trying to persuade the social media execs to do this or that.
Maybe one of the justices might ask how it came to be that a Chief Counsel of the FBI, James Baker, after a brief rest-stop at a DC think tank, happened to take the job as Chief Counsel at Twitter in 2020. That was a mighty strange switcheroo, don’t you think? And ordinary citizens were not generally informed of it until the fall of 2022, when Elon Musk bought Twitter and delved into its workings.

Tom Luongo, Biden’s Hail Mary Budget is Just Another Anchor Baby
The budget on offer is ludicrous.  Biden and his people know it.  The Republicans in the House know it.  This is a purely political document to try and shore up Biden’s failing numbers with his shrinking base.
It’s as tone deaf a budget proposal as I’ve ever seen from an American president.  It’s a budget designed to accelerate the bankruptcy of the US.  Since I consider Obama, the real power behind the throne in D.C., to be a foreign agent, this budget makes perfect sense.
The goal with this is to be so over-the-top that any negotiated settlement will still be terrible.  It’s a logical extension of the Democrats’ “Soak the Rich” rhetoric of the past two decades.  This time they are going to pay for their idiotic plans with destroying the capital base, putting taxes on unrealized capital gains, and more energy boondoggles whose intent is to cripple the US economy.
This is all right in line with World Economic Forum (and EU) principles to destroy competitiveness of European rival nations.  This budget, in short, is meant to be a poison pill for the future, regardless of who wins the election in November.

“Nobody Is Listening to Us”: Farmers Return to Madrid Streets
Farmers again took to the streets of Madrid on Sunday, March 17, to demand changes in EU agricultural policy and an end to the UN’s Agenda 2030 environmental program. But the protest was completely calm and peaceful.

Charles Hugh Smith, The Growing Rebellion Against Costly, Low-Quality, Overly-Complex Technology
One of the greatest myths about "free markets" is that enterprises create products and services to meet the needs of consumers. That sounds nice but that's not what happens in monopoly-cartel dominated economies like ours. In monopoly-cartel dominated economies like ours, what actually happens is the monopoly / cartel (i.e. a handful of quasi-monopolies that completely dominate their sector) limit their offerings to the most profitable products and services and force customers to buy them by making it impossible to find better-value options.
Monopoly-cartel dominated economies like ours are rife with intentionally shoddy quality products and services because durability is anathema to ever-higher profits. By designing products and services to fail--planned obsolescence--or become obsolescent by other means--your product is no longer supported--monopolies / cartels force consumers to constantly replace failed or timed-out products.
The other mechanism favored by monopolies / cartels is immiseration: make the product or service so miserable to use that the disgusted consumer is forced to upgrade to minimize their suffering. This is how monopolies / cartels manipulate the innocent-sounding "consumer choice:" you have a choice between suffering with low-quality products and services, or somewhat less suffering by paying more.

Meryl Nass MD, The process for developing a final text of the Pandemic Treaty is compromised  [Something, perhaps already ordained, will be presented March 26.]
Modern colonialism: fixing the process so the powerful entities have most of the say in the negotiations

Resistance is growing: citizens are fighting against the WHO pandemic treaty
Controversies surrounding the pandemic treaty and the revision of the International Health Regulations (IHR) and violations of procedural rules have led to criticism. The WHO is still pushing ahead with the contract.
The most important competencies that the WHO claims are:
Control over doctors, hospitals and everything that has to do with health in the broadest sense.
The power to dictate global health policy, which would limit the sovereignty of every country and the right of every citizen to make their own decisions about treatments and vaccinations.
Measures to combat so-called “false information” with which the WHO is allowed to restrict our freedom of expression and determine what is considered truth and what is not.
The power to declare a pandemic at any time and to take measures that would severely impact our everyday lives and our economy. The WHO could impose curfews, force company closures, enforce compulsory vaccinations or, as happened in many countries during Covid, exclude unvaccinated people from their workplaces and from public life...
..In an open letter to the Director General of the WHO, former (WHO, IHR specific) legal advisor Silvia Behrendt warns of the consequences of such an approach. She emphasizes that the planned circumvention of existing law represents a serious threat to democracy and those responsible should be held accountable.

Global financial analyst Jeffrey Sachs, What Might the US Owe the World for Covid-19?
The sum of the evidence – and the absence of reliable evidence pointing to a natural origin (see here and here) – adds up to the possibility that the US funded and implemented a dangerous GoF research program that led to the creation of SARS-CoV-2 and then to a worldwide pandemic. A powerful recent assessment by mathematical biologist Alex Washburne reaches the conclusion “beyond reasonable doubt that SARS-CoV-2 emerged from a lab…” He also notes that the collaborators “proceeded to mount what can legitimately be called a disinformation campaign” to hide the laboratory origin.
A US-funded laboratory origin of Covid-19 would certainly constitute the most significant case of governmental gross negligence in world history. Moreover, there is a high likelihood that the US Government continues to this day to fund dangerous GoF work as part of its biodefense program. The US owes the full truth, and perhaps ample financial compensation, to the rest of the world, depending on what the facts ultimately reveal.

A young Mark Twain had a vivid dream in which his brother died in an explosion. As recounted in a biography by Albert Paine, he was thoroughly shaken the next day. In his dream, Twain saw details, including a red rose on Henry’s chest as he lay in the casket. Two weeks later, Henry Clemens died in a boiler-room explosion aboard a steamship. At the funeral, Twain actually saw his brother’s body as he dreamed it, complete with rose, laid by a friend upon his chest as Twain watched.
