Talking About Nuclear War

  Let's Talk about Nuclear War ,  Ruben Bauer Naveira
​  ​The United States and Russia – the two greatest nuclear powers on the planet – have embarked on a wide-ranging “indirect war”. All that now remains is for them to engage in direct warfare, which will end up happening sooner or later. If later, it will be exactly because both powers are aware that any direct war between them will inevitably escalate into nuclear war, with a good chance of devastating them both.
​  ​How we reached this point will not be examined in depth here. Very briefly, both parties regard this as a struggle for existence – Russia, in order to continue to exist as a nation (in Putin’s words, “there is no compromise, a country is either sovereign or a colony”), and the United States, to continue to exist as the nation with hegemony over the rest (the US economy has become so reliant on that hegemony that its end would entail the country’s collapse).
​  ​Accordingly, both are willing to take the conflict to its ultimate consequences in order to prevail, and thus nuclear war becomes more inevitable with every passing day.
​  ​Among those responsible for a nuclear war that will be the downfall of all Humankind, there can be no “good guy”. However, when one side is fighting to subsist with autonomy, while the other is fighting in order to dominate the rest, it is not difficult to discern which is most the “bad guy”.

​  I have been thinking a lot about nuclear war recently, as you may have been, also. It has been sitting there on the shelf my whole life, but we have not been in the habit of worrying about it for the past 30 years or so. We were in the habit of worrying about it before that time.
​  The spectre of nuclear war was part of the control-narrative that directed our national policy in the cold war years in the US. My family and other families, all had plans of where to go for the air-raid warnings and where to meet after the bombs. "Duck and Cover" in the classroom. "Get under your desk if you can."

  Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon, Carter, Reagan and even G.H.W. Bush had been in war. Many civilian functionaries in government had been in war. Now it is rare at all levels outside the military. This is now merely conceptual in the minds of almost all decision makers in the US, and the west in general. This is game-theory, not reality. 
  It's fair to assume that most modern decision makers are self centered, not so compassionate or principled. Self-centered types mostly care about what they feel and what they want, and that is the "reality" they engage in their lives. An abstract game, where the player has little perceived risk, due to fallout shelters being present in Washington DC, and those "DUMBs" (deep underground military bases) will predispose the player to prioritize "winning" over risk-reduction strategies. 
I think we all see that nuclear war is treated much more casually in Washington than it was when I was a boy growing up on military bases.

  I don't think that decision makers are "crazy". I think they are "rational-actors", as that theory is named, but I see perverse incentives laid out for them by the current bureaucratic system, which lead to life-forms like me being placed at very high risk, as they play-to-win which is the feeling they like. 
  I pray for guidance often. I do not fear my own death, but I do not want to suffer, do not want all my family to suffer. I can do some limited things. I should repair that cracked water-tank I was given, and paint it and set it up. I should have some propane and a propane-stove for back-up if utilities go down. I should get more rice, beans, salt, oil, and canned goods in the pantries. These are all temporizing measures in a collapse, not the makings of a new life. 
  When I was a kid we all knew that we would all work together when the time came, all work as teams to survive. I don't know that now.

​  ​The coming existential threat: do we act in common or is it going to be every man for himself?​
  ​After a month of only very limited reception of Russian news, due to satellite issues and hotel service issues, last night I switched on Russian state television’s news and talk show “Sixty Minutes” on www.smotrim.ru and got a full blast of the current state of relations with the US, which are very close to Doomsday.
​  ​Allow me to share with you the key point, namely the soon to be announced changes to the Russian doctrine on first use of nuclear weapons and their new more precise red lines that have come about from the plans for Russia’s partition and destruction that seem to be aired daily on US television.
​  ​As usual, Yevgeny Popov, State Duma member and host of “Sixty Minutes,” put a lot of video segments from Western television up on the screen, including a lengthy statement by Lieutenant General Ben Hodges, former commander of all U.S. forces in Europe from 2014 to 2017, on how the Ukrainians must be given long range precision missiles for them to attack Russian Crimea and also further into the Russian heartland. The interview from which this declaration was made does not yet appear in Google search, but from interviews posted in 2022 it is clear that Hodges is no madman, and his statements must, as Popov said, be taken with utmost seriousness.
​  ​The context, of course, for the radical escalation now being discussed in the United States is the expectation of a massive Russian offensive to begin shortly as the anniversary of the Special Military Operation approaches. The imminent defeat of Ukrainian forces has focused minds in Washington.
  ​One of the regular panelists on “Sixty Minutes” then faced the cameras directly and said that Russia’s nuclear doctrine is under revision in light of these aggressive plans being aired in the United States, so that Russia is headed towards a policy of ‘preventive’ tactical nuclear strikes, similar to what the United States has.  Moreover, if Ukraine targets Crimea and heartland Russia, then Russia will respond according to plans now being laid down. These plans foresee counter strikes against U.S military installations in Europe and in the Continental United States using hypersonic missiles.  The panelist calls for this threat of counter strikes in Europe and the US to be made public and explicit, so that no one is in doubt about what to expect from the Kremlin.
​  ​So here we are. The Russians are stripping away the fiction of a proxy war and revealing the co-belligerent status of the US and its NATO allies in preparation for a kinetic war with NATO. As our illustrious former President, a man of few words, would say:  “Not good!”

​  Roger Waters addressed the UN Security Council (2/8/23, 14 min.) He did his best to call for an immediate ceasefire for billions of people without a voice.

  However, as Statista's Katharina Buchholz notes, while news wire reports indicate that more than 40 countries and territories have sent or were preparing to send teams to Turkey, the same was just known of three countries and territories concerning Syria: Russia, Algeria and Palestine.

Russia builds more military strength and capability every day that it​ continues the "Special Military Operation" at the current restrained pace, not using Russian regular-army forces in infantry-attacks. Ammunition is not running out. New and updated military equipment is put into use, to good effect.   Ukraine has reportedly lost 257,000 men, as reported to Def.Sec. Lloyd Austin recently. They are drafting 16 year olds. They are grinding up NATO equipment that NATO cannot replace this year. Russia is prepared to respond to any form of western escalation in kind. Russia says uranium munitions are "dirty bomb" equivalents, a form of nuclear first-strike, if used against Russia.

​  ​Also note that Russia works with a broad definition of “nuclear weapons.” Regarding depleted-uranium munitions that are regularly used by Leopards, Abrams, and Bradleys, Gavrilov stated: “If Kyiv were to be supplied with such munitions for the use in Western heavy military hardware, we would regard it as the use of ‘dirty nuclear bombs’ against Russia, with all the consequences that entails.” So, even under Russia’s more restrictive doctrine, tanks firing depleted-uranium munitions would be considered a first use of nuclear weapons.

Why Are They Doing It?

“Why is DOD (US Government, all Western globalist governments) acting against the people, killing and injuring the population”? The answer is largely in the creation of money. This story is not about how much money someone has right now, it is about who can make more of it at any time. The US Government and its Department of Defense specifically cannot account for around $21+ trillion as of several years ago...
 ..Importantly for the “owners” (of the money source), this is also about the restructuring of their out-of-whack balance sheet, i.e. the out-of-control liabilities. This is not only about the retirees in the Western countries that have been lulled into fat stupor by promises of socialist utopia, although obviously, they are a large group of creditors. Every person regardless of age is a “claim on assets” in the form of usage of the dollar supply (or whatever succeeds the dollar). Incidentally, that’s why the push for life expectancy curtailing “vaccinations” is so massive in the West and seems much less so in Africa (they are not worth that much per head in dollar terms).
​  ​The current war on the people is part of the restructuring that the globalist “owners” (owners of the central banks) are attempting - going direct reset and attempted CBDCs. This is also the fight over whose fake digital token is going to be the “global reserve”, and so we have the US fighting the Euro zone and Russia and China in various stages of economic/bioterrorism warfare progressing to kinetic war. While Russia and China and the Euros are also frantically restructuring their balance sheets by murdering and terrorizing their own citizenry.
​  ​In order to succeed the owners need to install a global system of totalitarian control through various technological surveillance means, reduce the population, and utterly impoverish and terrorize the survivors. I personally believe they will not succeed because they do not have the tech they claim (they lie about that a lot) and will not be able to bridge it in time before the situation totally unravels.

​  ​Don’t shoot me or be disappointed in me, I am only a messenger… I grew up in the country where many things were guaranteed by the government, a very large, very powerful one that still owns 1/6 of the Earth surface, and vast, vast resources that come with it. Anyhow, the government lasted 70+ years, had great technological achievements, won a major war, was in many ways quite formidable. The following things were absolutely, definitively, 100% guaranteed and absolutely free because all of us “paid into the system” by our collective earnest labor:
Free education, including higher education;
Employment;
Childcare;
Housing;
Medical care (and dental!);
Retirement!!!
Other ancillary benefits like vacation places (modest, but hey, free stuff!)
​  ​Until none of this became available. In a matter of DAYS. I am not kidding or exaggerating.
​  ​What happened to the retirees that were counting on those retirement benefits? Nothing over dramatic but they died.   I commend to you Dmitry Orlov’s seminal work, Reinventing Collapse: The Soviet Experience and American Prospects, Revised & Updated. For anyone out there not paying attention the past thirty-odd years, Russia, incorporated as the Soviet Union, collapsed in 1991. We're There Again

 History Students,



  Meryl Nass MD has been promoting her friend's movie about COVID pandemic policies repeating the policies of Nazi Germany in WW-2, except on a global platform this time. Never Again is Now Global, Vera Sharav, (holocaust survivor) This is a strong point to make, that the dehumanization of a group of people, in order to take away their rights and then property, leads to taking away their lives a little bit later. All genocides have done this, including the genocide of native Americans, which Hitler greatly admired. Th "Unvaccinated" were the hated group this time. It did not quite work this time, because many of us immediately stood in that line and declared that this was morally wrong.  I "stood naked with the Jews" as I said of my own decision at work in fall of 2021. Anyone who does that will be criticised, and it was particularly sharp from those who felt that they had exclusive ownership to that episode of history. I hope that they understand better now.

Changing Subjects

 ​Subjects of Empire,


  Empires, in general rise, expand and then decline, with decline typically being the most rapid phase. Empires provide a framework for trade between regions, bringing in new regions through enticement or force, then supplying all regions through the centralized economy, extracting the expenses of maintaining the empire, and extracting profits for the "owner" class.​

  The expenses of maintenance grow as the complexity of the empire grows, not just its size. Complexity keeps growing within bureaucratic systems, so they keep getting more expensive. Sustaining the bureaucracy is always the first or second priority for any bureaucracy. Bureaucracies are how humans do big projects.
As time progresses, the cut of resources to sustain an empire grows, even if the empire does not. Extraction of resources from the periphery uses up the cheapest resources. The profitability of an empire tends to decline as maintenance costs rise. 

  Some "owners" expect their profits to keep rising, and that requires hollowing-out of the production capacity of the empire. If the empire is stagnant, extracting profits causes decline through self-consumption, analogous to cancer. In the current western empire, some owners seek long term gain, and some want more now.

​  ​Let’s consider the center of the western-empire to be the financial “center” of London-Wall-street-Associated-tax-havens. BIS is part of this, as is BlackRock.
This western empire has trouble with the rapidity of the growth of money, which has outlandishly outdistanced the growth of real-economy in the world. It has been parasitizing real-economy to extract-value, to make those financial wealth-schemes “come-true” in at least some fraction.
It’s a Ponzi scheme, as we know. It’s gonna’ collapse. It’s not going to get to eat Russia to make payouts​ to support the Ponzi scheme.​.

​  ​The inability of the current imperial courtiers to make major direction changes will cause the (real) owners to take losses soon. The owners will need more intelligent/competent courtiers, a management team change.​ This applies to short-sighted, as well as long-sighted owners. Interests converge.​
The inertia ​of corrupt and cancerous management ​is ​fully as bad as it looks. The owners are not stupid, even if they are ​greedy and ​insulated from “reality”.

​  ​The collective west does not have any executive or management team which is competent and able to make quick decisions. Times of rapid economic restructuring call for that. There appears to be infighting between owners. The current courtiers have been in place a long time, but are “negatively efficacious” like those novel “vaccine” products.
​  ​The courtiers will ​inevitably ​be replaced. Sooner is better. ​Societal control-narratives are breaking. The COVID-pandemic narrative is now demanding ​expensive ​support, rather than creating support​ for the managers​. The Ukraine war control-narrative is very expensive, and will collapse badly when it stops being fed men, tanks, howitzers, ​ammunition and ​rockets. Th​e empire is literally running out of those things, forcing the moment of collapse to arrive..

​  ​Time is short to replace the control narratives before being completely discredited by reality.
Either case is fine with me, but I think the owners ​will ​have a different team to put in place in the US, which will not have so much inertia in the wrong direction, and will be more nimble​, better at meeting the actual physical-economy needs of other team-participants.​ That is to say, actually manage the economy of the declining empire, which still has a good resource base, even if downsized, and could be more prosperous with less cancer, less stupidity​ and less overhead.

​  ​If the management team in DC can be swapped out before this fall, a lot of sensible ​arrangements may be negotiated with the rest of the world, and within the imperial core.​ This will be less damaging to all parties within the remaining empire, and in the areas which are already gaining autonomy. Trade does not require the expenses of an imperial bureaucracy and cancerous profiteering by the parasitic-class of elites. Somebody does have to police piracy for the common good. There are still shared expenses to have a productive economy. Parasitism remains alluring.

​  Not much is being written about Twitter's becoming a versatile payment platform under Musk's ownership, but electronic-bank-transfers and PayPal are where Musk first got rich. The world is headed for financial regime restructuring. Musk's "super app" would allow multiple currency options, and would presumably allow conversion of liquidity between currencies. This could prove very useful on a daily basis, and at multiple levels as the $US steps down from global reserve currency status, and other currencies, fiat, digital and gold, step into the multipolar financial regime. This would be synergistic with Musk's Starlink.
​  ​Twitter is prepping for payments, and bitcoin might be in the mix.
According to a Financial Times report, Elon is open to adding BTC and crypto to its Twitter payments vision.
While the “super app” vision would prioritize fiat, its future will likely include the alternative payment method.
Elon Musks’ Twitter has reportedly begun applying for regulatory licenses across the U.S. in apparent preparation to begin facilitating payments through the app.

For the first time someone went and measured the benzene and toluene in the water and discovered that instead of being a sink for human pollutants in the air above, the ocean was the source.

​  Ukraine's Tank Problem
  The M-1 “is a complex weapons system that is challenging to maintain, as we’ve talked about.  That was true yesterday; it’s true today; it will be true in the future.”
  There is also a backlog of orders for the tank.  The Lima facility in Ohio, operated by General Dynamics, is the only facility that assembles the Abrams.  It can produce a mere 12 tanks per month and must fulfill orders to supply 250 A2 tanks for Poland starting in 2025 to replace the same number of Soviet-era T-72 tanks Warsaw supplied to Kyiv last year. Taiwan also put in an order for 108 M1A2 tanks in 2019.  Even getting to work on the 31 units promised by the Biden administration for Ukraine looks to be ambitious.
