Displaced Persons,
There is a competition between the Western Empire and Chinese Empire.
Russia is its own agent. Iran is Iran. The EU is whatever, an imperial construct in disarray...
Here are 4 articles looking at geopolitics going forward. There is a battle over 5G standards, because 5G is emerging as the Ring Of Power to control people. their minds, their transactions, what they know, all that they do, and to banish them from all economy, if necessary, individually, or by the billions.
5G will directly feed AI, which will know us, each ant, and all of our anthills and ant ways, and will direct our thoughts and movements in a lovely symphonic dance orchestration.

We need this, because mistrust, selfishness and dishonesty are rampant, widespread.
This leads to nihilism and the institutionalization of terrorism in a society.
In collapse and reset, like the Bolshevik revolution, anomie escalates to sadism.
We have entered that Twilight Zone, already.
(We need 5G to bring us together harmoniously in a new and better and fairer and safer world, with only good participants and nobody else.)..

China’s top cyber authority said on Monday it would carry out a “rectification” of Chinese mobile internet browsers to address what it called social concerns over the “chaos” of information being published online. China’s strict internet censorship rules have been tightened numerous times in recent years and in the latest crackdown, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) has told firms operating mobile browsers that they have until Nov. 9 to conduct a “self examination” and rectify problems. The problems include the spreading of rumours, the use of sensationalist headlines and the publishing of content that violates the core values of socialism, it said in a statement.
“For some time, mobile browsers have grown in an uncivilised way … and have become a gathering place and amplifier for dissemination of chaos by ‘self-media’,” the CAC said, referring to independently operated social media accounts, many of which publish news. “After the rectification, mobile browsers that still have outstanding problems will be dealt with strictly according to laws and regulations until related businesses are banned.”

'Iraq War Diaries' at 10 Years: Truth Is Treason, Ron Paul
The purpose of journalism is to uncover truth – especially uncomfortable truth – and to publish it for the benefit of society. In a free society, we must be informed of the criminal acts carried out by governments in the name of the people. Throughout history, journalists have uncovered the many ways governments lie, cheat, and steal – and the great lengths they will go to keep the people from finding out.
Great journalists like Seymour Hersh, who reported to us the tragedy of the Mai Lai Massacre and the horrors that took place at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, are essential.
Ten years ago last week, Julian Assange’s Wikileaks organization published an exposé of US government wrongdoing on par with the above Hersh bombshell stories. Publication of the "Iraq War Diaries" showed us all the brutality of the US attack on Iraq. It told us the truth about the US invasion and occupation of that country. This was no war of defense against a nation threatening us with weapons of mass destruction. This was no liberation of the country. We were not “bringing democracy” to Iraq.
No, the release of nearly 400,000 classified US Army field reports showed us in dirty detail that the US attack was a war of aggression, based on lies, where hundreds of thousands of civilians were killed and injured.
We learned that the US military classified anyone they killed in Iraq as “enemy combatants.” We learned that more than 700 Iraqi civilians were killed for “driving too close” to one of the hundreds of US military checkpoints – including pregnant mothers-to-be rushing to the hospital.
We learned that US military personnel routinely handed “detainees” over to Iraqi security forces where they would be tortured and often killed...
Ten years after Assange’s brave act of journalism changed the world and exposed one of the crimes of the century, he sits alone in solitary confinement in a UK prison. He sits literally fighting for his life... People who knowingly lied us into the war like Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, the Beltway neocon “experts,” and most of the media, faced neither punishment nor professional shaming for their acts. In fact, they got off scot free and many even prospered.

She is still very tired every day, still coming to work, still caring for people, still unable to physically exert herself due to sudden exhaustion.
She continues to be compassionate, continues to test people, advises vitamin-D, but has no answer for her own human condition.
I think this is the big deal going forward.
This virus alters heart-muscle-cells permanently.
They don't work effectively after that. They are not replaced in our bodies.
What else might we yet discover?
80% of people stop this virus in their noses and go on with life.
20% don't, it gets into their systems, arterioles, lungs, kidneys, heart and does weird things that are new to medicine.
I don't really care which lab it leaked from at this point. Coulda' been any of 'em.
Vitamin-D 5000 units/day long term is the prudent baseline. The upswing we are seeing in cases is the fall-off in natural vitamin-D levels. It is starting to get compounded by indoor gatherings again in the northern hemisphere. Vitamin-D : good, breathing air in crowded rooms : bad.
See if you can get an option on Ivermectin/zinc/doxycycline treatment in case it gets past your nose.
Good video by Paul Marik. Thanks Marjorie.. Skip to minute18 if you alreadyk know the pathophysiology.

I am not convinced that the infection and viral load are all in the nose. That's what's easy to measure.
I think it's a flawed assumption. That's my opinion.
Marik is a recognized expert. I'm just a simple-country-doctor.
The course of action is exactly right-on, either way.

John,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the Ivermectin update immensely, I am leaning in that direction, away from HCQ for quite a while, it's great to know the reasons behind it's utility beyond the infection stage. A small quibble with the mask graph at t=309, a optimally fitted line from just past the start of the pre-mask period, to the end of the graph might show a superior fit to the data than the two lines displayed. Yes, I am not a great mask fan.
Would you comment on the treatment that your co-worker utilized through the course of the infection? When I hear about infection specifics, treatment info is often overlooked.
Mahalo for your awesome effort,
kimo
Hi Kimo, You are welcome. I was off for a couple of weeks caring for my wife after her surgery, and discovered that my colleague had been sick with COVID. I do not believe she took any kind of medicine, other than vitamin-D. I am the only doctor discussing treatment with anybody, out of something like 20, not counting NPs and PAs. I am tolerated, because I have been here a long time, and I raised all the issues before they even got political, very early this year. I agreed to document that I told every patient I treated that it was not clinic policy, just between them and me. I early and openly offered treatment to any clinic employee, while we were still meeting together in big rooms, early this year. My attitude is sort of greandfathered-in.
DeleteI'm just practical with masking. It's some help. Who knows how much. It's "not a hill to die on" as i see it. I'm not going to convince anybody with strong feelings either way. I feel fairly Japanese about it, having gone to high school in Yokohama from 1973-1976.
John, mahalo for your gracious reply. And it only adds to the tragedy to hear of health professionals falling to the virus without medication.
DeleteI've had the pleasure of many visits to Yokohama in the past three years, having not been to Japan before. I've strolled through the stadium park a few times, and note that this week it is in Covid news, link below. I bought my first masks there from a well stocked display in late January. They were sold out the next day. One day more, my American flight crew had made them standard equipment. Sadly, I have lost my safe house there, as a loved one has returned to the states. What a wonderful place.

Both of the high schools I attended in Yokohama were near the foreign graveyard, "Gaijin Bochi", which is a pretty nice area.
DeleteI'm interested in all the proposed "high tech solutions", but only a little bit.
Vitamin-D remains invisible. That's the main tell that we are supposed to stay afraid and isolated.
John - much thanks for your ongoing Covid guidance.
ReplyDeleteI write requesting general advice. Many of my friends have, in the last week, tested +ve for COVID. So I started the Ivermectin protocol - a single 0.2mg/kg dose along with Doxy 100mg bds for 5 days. But now I'm thinking of taking Ivermectin prophylactically for 6 months as this European wave crescendos. That would be 0.2mg/kg once every 21 days. My question is - do I take the Doxy as well, or only if/when there are Covid symptoms.
I am also taking Zn, Vit D, Quercetin, Vit C - all daily.
Hi Amazed,
DeleteSince COVID has about a 5 day incubation period, it seems to me tht you would want to tae ivermectin at least weekly, so as to avoid gaps in coverage. I would only tae doxycycline if you get a diagnosis. Personally, I would only take zinc if diagnosed. It inhibits copper absorption, which you need. That's fine for 10 days. A little zinc once per day is probably fine, not more than 50 mg.
It's hard to know the ideal vitamin-D dose without testing, but you might do well dosing 5000 units of D3 per 50 kg (110#) per day, over this winter, until things get better next June or so.
Thanks John - all noted.
