Wise Or Clever

 Broad Minded,

Why Smart People Believe Stupid Things (Few people truly crave the truth itself, preferring to impress their groups and gain prestige.) Thanks Christine.
..Since we’re a social species, it is intelligent for us to convince ourselves of irrational beliefs if holding those beliefs increases our status and well-being. Dan Kahan calls this behavior “identity-protective cognition” (IPC).
By engaging in IPC, people bind their intelligence to the service of evolutionary impulses, leveraging their logic and learning not to correct delusions but to justify them.

Update 2/18 - Major War Confirmed Imminent ,Simplicus  (excerpts)
First, there are two reputable channels which are now confirming major actions are coming within a week...
..Note, the specific confirmation of something we predicted here in one of the recent reports, which is that the offensive is likely to kick off, not all at once but in several stages in order to maximize confusion, allow a little lead time for AFU to frantically send reserves to one direction to caulk the flow, only for a completely different direction to massively kick off into un-reinforced territory...
..There are now several reports of large field hospitals being constructed in at least two different regions, again reminiscent of exactly what happened last time prior to the start of the SMO..
...Ukraine’s AD (air defense)network is in DIRE condition. And I believe this is the reason that Russian airforce is beginning to step up and operate with more impunity.....Putin is now officially scheduled to give a big State of the Nation address on February 21st, which falls precisely on the anniversary of his pivotal Feb. 21, 2022 speech where he first announced the recognition of LPR/DPR’s independence...
..Biden will be literally right next door on the potential day/eve of a massive offensive launch (which could include huge airstrikes only a few kilometers away from him) seems almost pre-calculated for escalation.....The Russian federal council and Duma will convene an ‘extraordinary session’ (basically means unplanned) on February 22, which could be designed to ratify new initiatives announced in Putin’s address.....Putin is maneuvering the most combat capable commanders into their ideal positions on the eve of major operations...
..The most likely starting vector is looking more and more like Zaporozhe simply because the most confirmed activity is being seen in the sector involving Mariupol toward Kherson. The reason is because it’s the most critical. On one hand, I outlined in part 2 how Putin’s constitutional decrees/obligations mean that Kharkov and the remainder of Lugansk would need to be taken with utmost priority. HOWEVER, the breaking of AFU lines in Zaporozhe has even higher priority than that due to the fact that this is where Russia’s weakest point remains, owing to the vulnerability of Crimea.
It’s an open secret UA intends to build for a mass Spring offensive in the direction of Zaporozhe in order to sever the Crimean landbridge...
..There are way too many variables in how your enemy can expose your movements, and as such, it’s best to draw up very fluid/variable/modular plans whose pieces can be modified at any given time to thwart the ISR overreach of your opponent. Not to mention this is all part of basic maskirovka 101.
Hence, I suspect Russia has its main vectors/objectives set in a fluid Jeet Kune Do fashion, such that they can be swapped momentarily...

Race of Logistics: NATO’s Military-Industrial Crisis

Eleni sends this interesting case, made by longstanding Moscow correspondent, John Helmer, that Seymour Hersh's inside source was in the CIA, and even if sincere, would have a "compartmentalized" view of events, and was not an attendee at any of the critical meetings discussed.
Is this "weaponized" information? By whom? Against who? To what intended purpose? (i sure don't know.)

Thanks Luc. A lot of high level government and military officials in our world are reported to believe that the earthquake in Turkey was a military attack.
Was HAARP Responsible for the Turkey/Syria Earthquakes?
On the 3rd of February nine western countries either closed their embassies in Turkey or issued travel warnings to their citizens that they should leave Turkey. On the 6th of February a massive 7.8 quake on the Richter scale hit early in the morning with a 7.5 earth quake following twelve hours later. So far the body count between Turkey and Syria is above 41,000 dead with the damage in billions of dollars.
The governments of those nine western countries with the early warning were either incredibly wise or they were incredibly foolish. We don’t know which yet.
Turkey reacted with fury in the belief that somehow the US had triggered the earthquakes with something called HAARP. I have no idea of what HAARP can or can’t do. I don’t even know if it still exists or what capabilities it has. But a Romanian Senator has come out with a blistering video saying it was deliberate.

Whether the Turkish earthquake, primed by creeping tectonic plates, was nudjed by the use of HAARP (High Altitude Auroral Research Project) technology, which can be used to cut-open a gap in the ionosphere, to allow a flow of charged solar particles in, which deliver some energy into the earth's crust, remains an open question. I have hesitated to raise it, but it persists, and is considered likely by some who have much more information about its capabilities. The 2016 assassination attempt against Turkish President Erdogan is widely believed to have been instigated by Turkish officers loyal to American interests.
Turkey, holding the Straits of the Bosphorus, between Europe and Asia, is a critical transit hub, including for natural gas from the Pars fields, held by Iran and Qatar. These comprise the largest collection of natural gas in the world.
There were competing pipeline plans to pipe the gas to Europe, and the US funded the war in Syria to block the Iranian/Syrian pipeline, which would have also served Turkish interests. Turkey lost its trade with neighboring Syria, which has badly hurt the Turkish economy and currency, when it complied with US plans to overthrow the Assad government.
It appears that a lot of medium and long term Turkish interests align with getting Pars gas to Europe, and having good relations with Syria and Russia. It is notable that Erdogan appears to be alive due to a last minute call from Russia about the military coup against him. If the earthquake was nudged by the western military, will it accelerate Turkey's move away from US interests, and towards the interests of Turkey and her neighbors?

Iran-China strategic partnership: The big picture  , Pepe Escobar
Raeisi’s visit to Beijing was framed to accelerate all manner of vectors in Iran-China economic cooperation – from crucial investments in the energy sector (oil, gas, petrochemical industry, pipelines) to banking, with Beijing engaged in advancing modernizing reforms in Iran’s banking sector and Chinese banks opening branches across Iran...
..Then there’s one of the great sagas of Pipelineistan: the IP (Iran-Pakistan) gas pipeline, previously known as the Peace Pipeline, from  South Pars to Karachi.
The Americans did everything in the book – and off the books – to stall it, delay it or even kill it. But IP refused to die; and the China-Iran strategic partnership could finally make it happen...
..Beijing and Tehran, now on overdrive and with no time to lose, may face all manner of challenges – and threats – from the Hegemon; but their 25-year strategic deal does honor historically powerful trading/ merchant civilizations now equipped with substantial manufacturing/ industrial bases and with a serious tradition in advanced scientific innovation...
..This whole process – already happening – is in many aspects a direct consequence of the Empire’s “until the last Ukrainian” proxy war against Russia.
Ukraine as cannon fodder is rooted in Mackinder’s heartland theory:  world control belongs to the nation that controls the Eurasian land mass.
This was behind World War I, where Germany knocking out Russia created fear among the Anglo-Saxons that should Germany knock out France it would control the Eurasian land mass.
WWII was conceived against Germany and Japan forming an axis to control Europe, Russia and China.
The present, potential WWIII was conceived by the Hegemon to break a friendly alliance between Germany, Russia and China – with Iran as a privileged West Asia partner.
Everything we are witnessing at this stage spells out the US trying to break up Eurasian integration.

Raisi in Beijing: Iran-China strategic plans go full throttle, Pepe Escobar

Raisi, the first Iranian president to officially visit China in 20 years, led an ultra high-level political and economic delegation, which included the new Central Bank governor and the Ministers of Economy, Oil, Foreign Affairs, and Trade.
The fact that Raisi and Xi jointly supervised the signing of 20 bilateral cooperation agreements ranging from agriculture, trade, tourism and environmental protection to health, disaster relief, culture and sports, is not even the major take away...
..When it comes to infrastructure building, Iran is a key BRI partner. The geostrategy of course is hard to match: a 2,250 km coastline encompassing the Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, Sea of Oman and the Caspian Sea – and huge land borders with Iraq, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Every think tank in China sees how Iran is irreplaceable, not only in terms of BRI land corridors, but also the Maritime Silk Road....
..An even more revolutionary development would be China coordinating the BRI connection of an Iranian corridor with the already in progress 3,200 km-long China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), from Kashgar in Xinjiang to Gwadar port in the Indian Ocean.
That seemed perfectly plausible when Pakistani Prime Minister  Imran Khan was still in power, before being ousted by a lawfare coup. The key of the whole enterprise is to build badly needed infrastructure in Balochistan, on both sides of the border. On the Pakistani side, that would go a long way to smash CIA-fed “insurgents” of the Balochistan Liberation Army kind, get rid of unemployment, and put trade in charge of economic development...
..What is already happening now, geopolitically, and fully recognized by China, might be defined as the full rejection of an absurdity: the collective west treating Iran as a pariah or at best a subjugated neo-colony...
..Likely to become one of the first new members of BRICS+, Iran is the first West Asian state to become a full member of the SCO, and is clinching a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Iran is a major strategic partner of both BRI, led by China, and the INSTC, alongside Russia and India...
..What Raisi and Xi sealed in Beijing heralds Chinese pre-eminence all across West Asia – keenly perceived in Beijing as a natural consequence of recognizing and honoring Iran’s regional centrality...
..What Raisi and Xi have just demonstrated in Beijing is the Sovereign way forward. The three leaders of Eurasia integration – China, Russia and Iran – are fast on their way to consolidate the core of multipolarity.

The Combination of Bromelain and Acetylcysteine (BromAc) Synergistically Inactivates SARS-CoV-2
..We sought to determine the effect of BromAc on the spike and envelope proteins and its potential to reduce infectivity in host cells. Recombinant spike and envelope SARS-CoV-2 proteins were disrupted by BromAc. Spike and envelope protein disulfide bonds were reduced by Acetylcysteine. In in vitro whole virus culture of both wild-type and spike mutants, SARS-CoV-2 demonstrated a concentration-dependent inactivation from BromAc treatment but not from single agents. Clinical testing through nasal administration in patients with early SARS-CoV-2 infection is imminent...
(This may be of benefit in vaccine-related illness caused by persistent production of spike protein, by inactivating it in the circulation. These should both be safe for a reasonable period of use, though there have been some concerns about NAC reducing immune-system cancer surveillance in long term use.)

Extensive analysis of Pfizer and moderna mRNA "vaccine" vials shows many different types of mRNA contaminants, many short fragments, but also many which are longer and more complex than the intended segment of mRNA to code for spike-protein.
Additionally, there are many active DNA plasmids, from the Pseudomonas bacterium, more in the Pfizer product, and they are capable of transcribing antibiotic resistance genes against Kanamycin and neomycin, which can be passed to bacteria in the human gut.

Project Veritas founder and CEO James O’Keefe is exiting the organization.
O’Keefe announced to his staff Monday that he was leaving over a conflict in vision between himself and the board in a poignant 15-minute video.
Throughout my 13 years doing this my mission has evolved,” O’Keefe said in his announcement.
“Over the last few weeks I have felt a lot of despair and seen a lot of evil and felt overcome with various emotions.”
A clearly emotional O’Keefe expressed gratitude for his employees, but noted that:
“The external threats and pressure inflicted upon myself has been unimaginable,” O’Keefe continued...
..Project Veritas did not pick up the phone or respond to requests for comment.
O’Keefe, who started Project Veritas in 2010, said he’s not finished.
He said that “the mission continues” but will “perhaps take on a new name.”
“I’ll make sure you know how to find me,” he told Project Veritas employees. “I hope to see some of you soon.”
