Tiny Little Strings

 Perception-Managed,

We can much better comprehend our relationship with our masters through our smartphone "familiars" if we read this short interview with Korean philosopher Byung-Chul Han: Thanks for this deep insight, Charles. I am including little snippets.
The smartphone today is either a digital workplace or a digital confessional. Every device, and every technique of domination, generates totems that are used for subjugation. This is how domination is strengthened. The smartphone is the cult object of digital domination. As a subjugation device, it acts like a rosary and its beads; this is how we keep a smartphone constantly at hand. The ‘like’ is a digital “amen.” We keep going to confession. We undress by choice. But we don’t ask for forgiveness: instead, we call out for attention...
When we are depressed we lose our relationship with the world, with the other. We sink into a scattered ego. I think digitalization, and the smartphone, make us depressed. There are stories of dentists who say that their patients cling to their phones when a treatment is painful. Why do they do that? Thanks to the smartphone, I am aware of myself. It helps me to be certain that I am alive, that I exist. That’s why we cling to our cellphones in situations like dental treatment. As a child, I remember holding my mother’s hand at the dentist’s office. Today the mother will not offer the child her hand, but a cellphone
Support does not come from others, but from oneself. That makes us sick. We have to recover the other person...
Only a repressive regime provokes resistance. On the contrary, the neoliberal regime, which does not oppress freedom, but exploits it, does not face any resistance. It is not repressive, but seductive. Domination becomes complete the moment it presents itself as freedom. ("Is perceived as freedom", I'd say)

Think very carefully about what would happen in America, or your country, with only 15% less oil. Covid may have dropped consumption less than 5% (Correct me if I am wrong.) Make as many accomodations for the future as you can, now, please.
Despite the pitfalls to prices and supply, the IEA said current low oil and gas spending was one of the few areas aligned with its most ambitious Net Zero Emissions by 2050 (NZE) scenario in which no new fossil fuel projects should go forward.
In its most conservative status quo, or stated policies scenario (STEPS), however, average annual spending on oil to meet demand would need to rise sharply to above $500 billion - more than at any time in the last five years.
Energy consultancy FGE said in a note the problem was not an immediate one, but could come to a crescendo in coming years.

On The Limits To Transition:
Logically considered, 2021 ought to have been the place where old assumptions go to die...
At the level of theory, there’s nothing much wrong with the idea of outdated notions (or humans) undergoing a mass extinction event.
Our understanding, and our ability to plan ahead, can only benefit from the discovery that the economy isn’t, after all, ‘a wholly monetary system, capable of infinite growth’, but is in fact an energy system, limited by the laws of physics as they apply to the Earth’s energy resources.
It is, after all, hard to plan effectively when your base predicates are false.
In practical terms, though, we’re faced with something that moves beyond an inconvenient truth into what is for most people an almost inconceivable one. This is the proposition that there may be no wholly sufficient replacement for the fossil fuel energy on which the economy of today is based.
Put another way, the desirable – indeed, imperative – de-carbonization of the economy is likely to involve shrinking it as well.
If you held any leadership position, you’d have to think long and hard before going public on any of this. Your wiser course of action might be to talk up the positives in the current situation whilst preparing, with the greatest urgency, for the new one...
This implies that what we need isn’t re-set, but re-design.
At a later stage we may revisit the taxonomy of de-growth but, for now, we can note that a contracting economy implies a process of de-complexification. The range of products and services available will narrow, and methods of supply will be simplified as producers try to work around the adverse effects of falling utilization rates and the loss of critical mass. The simplification process will involve substantial de-layering.
The brunt of contraction in the private sector will be borne by sectors providing discretionary (non-essential) goods and services...
The critical question for policymakers now might be that of how we ensure that the essentials are available and affordable for everyone.
(Demand destruction?  It's what they do everywhere else...)

The End of Super Imperialism, by Alex Gladstein  is actually the best summary of the book "Super Imperialism" and it's 2 subsequent follow-up editions since release in 1972, which I have seen.
It is in Bitcoin Magazine, so it has to put in a blurb for Bitcoin at the end, the thesis that Bitcoin can replace the petro-dollar as global reserve currency. There are a lot of weaknesses to that thesis, which are not brought up at all. I think it was added to an excellent essay to get published and paid.
With every prior empire, the empire still had to finance debt for wars. With the debt-based-dollar replacing gold, and countries [like Saudi Arabia] having to recycle excess dollars into lending to the Federal Government [for wars] there was a perfect trap for the rest of the world.
The trap was set when the USA was the largest creditor nation by far, and held 70% of non-Soviet gold stores, at the end of WW-2.
Once the rest of the world was using $US for global trade, and the US could print and spend all it needed for war, and they increasingly lent it back by buying T-bills, as American manufacturing got offshored, and real interest rates were usually negative, the support for Super Imperialism was in place.
The threat to this system is any global trade/reserve currency which does not extract wealth.
Yes, (energy expensive) Bitcoin could sort of fill this role between central banks, but a gold-backed central bank currency could do it better, and they are in beta testing. Every country would again be subject to balance-of-payments-in-gold discipline.
It was the Vietnam War that decisively drained US gold, though it really began in Korea.

US Coverup Of Syria Massacre Shows The Danger Of The Assange Precedent, Caitlin Johnstone
...The report contains many significant revelations, including that the US military has been grossly undercounting the numbers of civilians killed in its airstrikes and lying about it to Congress, that special ops forces in Syria have been consistently ordering airstrikes which kill noncombatants with no accountability by exploiting loopholes to get around rules meant to protect civilians, that units which call in such airstrikes are allowed to do their own assessments grading whether the strikes were justified, that the US war machine attempted to obstruct scrutiny of the massacre “at nearly every step” of the way, and that the Air Force’s Office of Special Investigations only investigates such incidents when there is “potential for high media attention, concern with outcry from local community/government, concern sensitive images may get out.”
“But at nearly every step, the military made moves that concealed the catastrophic strike,” The New York Times reports. “The death toll was downplayed. Reports were delayed, sanitized and classified. United States-led coalition forces bulldozed the blast site. And top leaders were not notified.”
Journalist Aaron Maté has called the incident “one of the US military’s worst massacres and cover-up scandals since My Lai in Vietnam.”...
Julian Assange currently sits in Belmarsh Prison waiting to find out if British judges will overturn a lower court’s ruling against his extradition to the United States to be prosecuted under the Espionage Act for journalistic activity which exposed US war crimes. War crimes not unlike those that were just exposed by The New York Times in its reporting on the Baghuz massacre.
The precedent the US government is trying to set with its persecution of Julian Assange will, if successful, cast a chilling effect over journalism which scrutinizes the US war machine, not just in the United States but around the world. If it can succeed in legally establishing that it can extradite an Australian journalist for publishing information in the public interest about US war crimes, it will have succeeded in legally establishing that it can do that to any journalist anywhere. And you can kiss investigative reporting like this goodbye.

Land Grab for "Climate"? Land Confiscated from Midwestern Farmers , Tessa (fights robots) Lena
This story is about an event that is extremely important and historically deep. According to Ice Age Farmer, a large amount of land is currently being confiscated from American farmers in the Midwest, using eminent domain. The farmers are given an option to accept a modest compensation and go away “voluntarily”—but if not, they are threatened with the prospect of losing their land anyway under eminent domain.
This is done to give way to a massive carbon sequestration pipeline (actually, two of them) and processing facilities going through the heart of the Corn Belt. (You guessed it, this is done in the name of “saving the planet.”)
Notably, the project allegedly requires removing top soil (!!!) in an area spanning thousands of miles—an agriculturally important area—which is, of course, a great way to save the planet!

Dr Mike Yeadon – “The findings that 100% of Covid-19 Vaccine Deaths have been caused by just 5% of the batches produced are unprecedented”
On October 31st we revealed how an investigation of data found in the USA’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) has revealed that extremely high numbers of adverse reactions and deaths have been reported against specific lot numbers of the Covid-19 vaccines several times, meaning deadly batches of the experimental injections have now been identified...
...As of November 1, 2021, there have been more adverse events reported for the COVID vaccines than for all 70+ vaccines combined since they started tracking adverse events 30 years ago. Thanks Travis.

Games you can play with statistics and graphing to show things in a very obvious way, which happen to be counterfactual...

SARS-COV-2 Delta variant displays moderate resistance to neutralizing antibodies and spike protein properties of higher soluble ACE2 sensitivity, enhanced cleavage and fusogenic activity
SARS-CoV-2 Delta (sub)variant is moderately resistant to neutralizing antibodies produced in response to vaccines targeting January 2020 spike protein, which is most of them, and all of the ones in the US and UK. (This says nothing about enhancement of viral pathogenicity by antibodies to spike protein antibodies or natural antibodies to COVID infection.)
Finally, the spike proteins of B.1.617 variants are more efficiently cleaved due to the P681R substitution, and the spike of Delta variants exhibited greater sensitivity to soluble ACE2 neutralization, as well as fusogenic activity, which may contribute to enhanced spread of Delta variants.
That means that the things the virus does to attach to and quickly enter a human cell, to begin reproducing, all seem to work better for this sub variant. Several of these things have been shown elsewhere to be enhanced by antibodies to January 2020 SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, such as the cleavage of spike protein after attachment to ACE-2 receptor on cell wall, and "fusogenic activity", which has to do with fusing into and crossing the host cell wall.
These features were studied using "pseudovruses" not whole virus, so that each feature could be studied in isolation. That is good in one way, seeing what each mutated feature does alone, but it will completely miss the whole package effect of active virus in vaccinated, previously infected, and infection-naive humans. That would be far more complex of a study, and it is sort of going on around us.

A systematic review of cases of CNS demyelination following COVID-19 vaccination
Demyelinating neurological disease, like multiple sclerosis and transverse myelitis impairs the myelin sheath around nerves, without which they work very poorly or not at all. All types of COVID-19 vaccines can elicit this autoimmune response, more commonly in people who have autoimmune disease, and more commonly after the first vaccine dose. Most of these cases improved with high-dose steroids, the typical treatment.

Paresthesia can be numbness, tingling, burning, ants crawling, insect biting, glass cuts, painful pressure or other sensation, without an easily identifiable cause on physical examination. Hyperesthesia is feeling things way too much in an area. It is usually experienced as painful.
In the latest update on vaccine safety 6 October, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) reported that among the adverse reactions to the Pfizer Comirnaty vaccine there were also cases of parestesia. In particular, as written in the dossier, edited by the Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC), almost 22 thousand cases of parestesia and hypesthesia have been reported out of approximately 1 billion and 220 thousand Pfizer vaccine doses administered in the world.

This is the excellent MATH+ protocol in-hospital. The MASK+ protocol for outpatients is similar, similar to what I have used, and both have been continuously updated, based on clinical results, sinc March of 2020. Dr Marik has been the leader in America of developing therapeutics that work for COVID. He is at University of Eastern Virginia.
Paul Marik, MD, one of the most highly published critical care physicians in the world and the Director of the ICU at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, was recently prohibited by Sentara Healthcare from administering a range of highly effective COVID-19 treatments to critically ill patients—the same treatments he has successfully used to reduce COVID deaths in the ICU by as much as 50%. The result of the prohibition has been a sharp increase in patient mortality. Because Dr. Marik can no longer stand by while patients needlessly die without proper treatment, he has filed a lawsuit to allow him and his colleagues to administer the combination of FDA-approved drugs and other therapies that has saved thousands of critically ill COVID-19 patients in the last 18 months.

RFK Jr.  In my latest book — “The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health” — I take an in-depth look at the disastrous consequences of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s 50-year reign as America’s public health czar. The book, which will be released Nov. 16, is available now for pre-order.
"The J. Edgar Hoover of Public Health in America" for over 35 years, starting with AIDS.
As director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Dr. Anthony Fauci dispenses $6.1 billion in annual taxpayer-provided funding for scientific research.
The research I conducted for my new book exposes how Fauci’s gargantuan yearly disbursements allow him to dictate the subject, content and outcome of scientific health research across the globe.
These annual disbursements also allow Fauci to exercise dictatorial control over the army of “knowledge-and-innovation” leaders who populate the “independent” federal panels that approve and mandate drugs and vaccines — including the committees that allowed the Emergency Use Authorization of COVID-19 vaccines.
Fauci uses the financial clout at his disposal to wield extraordinary influence over hospitals, universities, journals and thousands of influential doctors and scientists — whose careers and institutions he has the power to ruin, advance or reward.

Medicolegal Pandemic Update

 Remorseful Buyers,

The current COVID mutation sweeping Europe evades (capitalizes upon?) vaccine-induced antibodies. It does not appear as virulent in the unvaccinated, but spreads very well in vaccinated European populations, becoming dominant in multiple regions.
...Of note, this B.1.1.7 sub-lineage is the predominant B.1.1.7 variant in several European countries, such as Czech Republic, Austria and Slovakia. The earliest samples belonging to this sub-lineage were detected in November 2020 in a few countries in the European continent, but not in the UK. We have also detected its further evolution with extra spike mutations D138Y and A701V, which are signature mutations shared with the Beta and Gamma variants, respectively. Antibody neutralization assay of virus variant isolations has revealed that the variant with extra spike mutations is 3.2-fold less sensitive to vaccine-elicited antibodies as compared to other B.1.1.7 variants tested, indicating potential for immune evasion, but it also exhibited reduced replication fitness. The wide spread of this B.1.1.7 sub-lineage was related to the pandemic waves in early 2021 in various European countries.

More on that in lay terminology:
With a 62.7% vaccination rate, Austria not only has a higher rate than the U.S., but most of the population has been vaccinated relatively recently, which should give those people better protection. Yet the country is experiencing its most prolific outbreak ever, as we are seeing across the globe, with a near-perfect inverse relationship between vaccination rates and COVID case rates. Now, Austria and other European countries are staring down the barrel of a completely new mutation, which German researchers believe might be completely immune to the vaccine-mediated antibodies.
According to Our World in Data, the Central European countries and the Baltic states currently have the highest case rates per capita in the world.

A group of 16 Swedish doctors and researchers have signed a petition demanding a stop in vaccination with Pfizer in Sweden due to suspected fraud.
Earlier in November, the British Medical Journal (BMJ) revealed that a subcontractor to Pfizer was likely to conduct extensive research fraud during the pivotal phase III study of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine in the autumn of 2020.
According to a former Pfizer subcontractor regional director in Texas, the company falsified data, unblinded patients, hired inadequately trained vaccinators and was slow to follow up on side effects reported in the Phase III study of the Pfizer vaccine.
A whistleblower suggested that the company falsified data, unblinded patients, hired inadequately trained vaccinators and was slow to follow up on side effects reported in the Phase III study. The staff who performed quality checks were reportedly overwhelmed by the amount of problems they discovered. The BMJ concluded that the trial raised questions about data integrity and regulatory oversight.

"Name your poison"
In the wake of a weak earnings report that sent Moderna shares cratering last week, French health authorities have just released a new advisory recommending that people under 30 don't get the Moderna vaccine, recommending that they choose the Pfizer-BioNTech jab instead.

Germany Latest EU Government To Warn Young Adults, Pregnant Women Not To Get Moderna Jab
European health regulators are expressing another wave of skepticism about mRNA vaccines and whether the health benefit for young, healthy adults outweighs the potentiality for damage from rare but harmful side effects. Yesterday, it was France's medicines regulator advising men under 30 to avoid the Moderna jab.
On Wednesday, Germany's advisory committee, also known as STIKO, issued a similar regulation targeted at Moderna. The committee said Germans under the age of 30 should stick to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine as studies suggest that it causes fewer cases of heart inflammation in younger patients, something that has been backed up by multiple studies.

"We just have to give the kids the vaccine to see how it works..."
In Pfizer's FDA briefing document prepared for the Oct. 25 meeting was an admission that even according to the company's own unverified and misleading math, there is a scenario where there would be more hospitalizations among children for myocarditis — just one side effect — than from COVID. "Under Scenario 3 (lowest incidence), the model predicts more excess hospitalizations due to vaccine-related myocarditis/pericarditis compared to prevented hospitalizations due to COVID-19 in males and in both sexes combined," states Pfizer in page 33 of the document.

Why They Didn't Stop The Trials
"Last week I caught up with a friend who worked on some of the first Moderna vaccine human trials in the US. He revealed to me that it is indeed as bad as we thought it was. He had worked at a research center 6 years testing various drugs and was in charge of describing and filing reports for serious adverse reactions (SAEs). SAE’s include anything from getting hit by a bus to having an anaphylactic reaction to the drug at the center (basically any serious health event has to be recorded and investigated for any link to the clinical trial for the duration of the trial.) For a normal week, he’d have 1 or 2 SAEs to file and report. When they started the Moderna trial, within a week he was having to come in early and stay late to get through stacks of SAEs.
The normal acceptable threshold for SAEs is 5%. Once you cross that threshold, and more than 5% of your patients are reporting SAEs, you have to stop the trial and investigate for cause. Well, they had a rate of at least 16% after a few weeks. So, confused as to why the trial had not been flagged and halted, they looked into their SAE database and found that the majority of the ones they had reported to the agency responsible (I think FDA) were missing.
They called said agency and were told that there were a high volume of SAEs being reported from multiple centers, so they were going through and removing the “irrelevant ones.” They claimed that the state of the pandemic warranted an unconventional approach to research. Obviously this is insane, even to the trusting individuals my friend worked with so the head of his clinic called a conference of the other 20 or so sites in that region and they all were having the same experience. In other words, this wasn’t a fluke.
Things eventually got so bad that my friends’ boss told the company he was contracted with that he was going to discontinue the trial because people were having so many SAEs including seizures, clots, myocarditis, death, etc. The contracting company told him that he was obliged to finish the trial, from what I gather because the official number of SAEs was below the 5% threshold. Friend’s boss said “go take a hike, I quit.” Walked away from his head job at the research center where he made millions."

"Cherry-picking" data. They had other data. They did not include it.
In Israel, they studied the "effectiveness" of a third Pfizer vaccine "booster" by looking only at the number of cases between 1-3 weeks following that booster, and not looking at any adverse events from the booster. Within that very narrow scope the people who got the booster did better than people who completed the Pfizer 2-shot series more than 5 months previously. Unvaccinated Israelis with or without natural immunity were not included.
Effectiveness of a third dose of the BNT162b2 mRNA COVID-19 vaccine for preventing severe outcomes in Israel: an observational study
"Third, due to the relative scarcity of events in individuals younger than 40 years, we could not evaluate vaccine effectiveness in this age group. Fourth, this vaccine effectiveness study did not explore potential adverse clinical events and excess health-care utilisation associated with the administration of a third dose. Finally, we excluded populations (health-care workers, those living in long-term care facilities, and those medically confined to their homes) that are likely to be targeted early to receive the booster dose."

This explains a lot of morbidity and mortality. Keep your vitamin-D level up to help your immune system be intelligent, and get early antiviral treatment with things like ivermectin, zinc, doxycycline, hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, fluvoxamine, monoclonal antibodies, baby-aspirin, vitamin-C, quercetin, NAC,...
The majority of SARS-CoV-2-specific antibodies in COVID-19 patients with obesity are autoimmune and not neutralizing

More than half of US Border Patrol Agents might be fired for lack of COVID vaccination.

They won't even begin to consider letting Julian Assange, accused of no UK crime, get married in prison. Nobody is responsible to look at the request.

In September it was revealed the CIA had drawn up plans to kidnap or kill Assange during his seven years exiled in the Embassy of Ecuador in London. The agency also spied on his family and friends and led a campaign of misinformation against him.
Stella, 38, a lawyer, said: ‘Those catch-or-kill plans were not implemented but other hostile measures were and this is the sting in the tail.
‘It’s part of an enormous conspiracy against Julian which makes itself felt in all that we try to do.

‘Our love for each other is the one thing which has carried us through and being married would be another bulwark in our emotional defences.
‘There is no reason for political interference in what is a basic human right. The CIA revelations show the lengths some agencies are willing to go to in their persecution of Julian.’

Kennedy Spills The Beans

Aware of Perfidy,

I am showcasing this piece by RFK Jr. today. It's enough. I see this process as he presents it here.
We see the same thing happening in the US and globally.

‘Our Country Is Under Attack’: RFK, Jr. Speaks on CIA and Totalitarianism

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. last month delivered a speech at the 2021 Ron Paul Institute “Pandemic and the Road to Totalitarianism” conference.
In his speech — described by the Ron Paul Institute as “a compelling indictment of the mad push to total control” — Kennedy said the techniques used by government officials during the COVID pandemic to “edge people into subservience” come straight out of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) manuals he researched for his book, “American Values.”
He said the manuals provided a playbook for how to destroy local businesses, the economy, institutional and social structures and social relationships. He said the purpose was:

“ … to create chaos that will then create enough people in that country who will allow a foreign entity to come in and clamp down on centralized control. And almost all of the techniques that are outlined in those manuals are the same techniques that they were practicing in these simulations year after year with hundreds of thousands of people.”

Kennedy described a recent simulation, Event 201, a pandemic “tabletop exercise” that simulated a global pandemic nearly identical to COVID. The event took place in October 2019 at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security.
Dr. Tom Inglesby, director of the Center for Health Security, facilitated the simulation.  Bill Gates of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, global health officers and people from social media groupslarge pharmaceutical companies and global corporations attended or sent representatives.

Kennedy said:
“What were they simulating? They were simulating a pandemic, but they weren’t simulating a medical response to that pandemic. They were simulating a militarized response. How do you use that pandemic to, particularly in that Event 201, to impose censorship globally? And that’s what they were modeling.”
Describing CIA operations and organized mind control programs at top universities, conducted on “expendable” subjects such as military and the incarcerated, Kennedy said the same techniques are used in today’s lockdowns:

“The most potent technique, incidentally that they learned again, and again, and again — more potent than physical torture — was isolation … And they did this in sensory deprivation tanks … and also just locking people in solitary confinement.

“You can get [people] to do almost anything you want after a certain period of time. It will drive them mad, because we’re social animals, we’re social beings. And when you tear the social fabric, it makes people desperate, fearful and obedient to do anything.”

Kennedy detailed America’s response to pandemics throughout history and explained the significance of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which guarantees the right to free speech.

“If a government can hide what it’s doing by censoring its opponents and silencing dissonants , it has license to do anything that it wants,” Kennedy said.
He said what happens when you have a population of fear, “you have the complete obliteration of critical thinking, and then people stop asking questions.

Kennedy described how the rules and regulations handed down during the pandemic have been manipulated to point where no one recognizes the country as a democracy anymore:

“So there are all these democratic protections that were waived. All of that was waived. All of these things were imposed upon us by fiat — with no discussion, no science cited.”

Kennedy cited parallels in books he’s read by George Orwell and science fiction writer, Robert Heinlein, with what he sees all over the civilized world. He said his forthcoming book, “The Real Anthony Fauci,” is a real-world account of what seems to him as surreal as science fiction:

“I’m about to publish this book on Anthony Fauci, and part of my journey in writing that book — and it’s taken me more than a year of really intense research — was it took me kind of on that journey to try and explain how this could have happened in America.

“And one of the things that I discovered during this process is what’s happening now is this lockstep imposition of totalitarian controls — not just in America, but in every one of the liberal democracies in the world, and all of the other countries in the world.

“China moved into Hong Kong and banned the last democratic newspaper. Everywhere in the world, we see democracy and constitutional rights disappearing. And it all happened at once, as if it was planned.”

Kennedy compared the two ways American people respond to totalitarian control by detailing the conclusions of Stanley Milgram’s electric-shock studies of the 1960s.
Milgram recruited subjects from every walk of life to learn how many people would torture and potentially kill a person sitting in the next room with the turn of a “supposed” electric dial.
Kennedy explained:

“And the dial would supposedly administer electric shocks to a person sitting in the next room who they could not see. And they could hear the screams and the pleading and the crying, the agony that they were causing and the begging. And they had a guy who was dressed as a doctor in a white lab coat who was telling them, ‘turn it up higher at different intervals.’ Many of the people who were turning it up were crying, because they didn’t want to do it because it clashed with essential values. It clashed with their conscience.”

In the end, however, the Milgram experiment found more people followed “doctors’ orders” than their own conscience.

“Sixty-seven percent of the people — of the Americans — liberal, conservative, etcetera — who were told to do that turned that dial-up to 450 volts,” Kennedy said.  “It said on the dial: ‘Potentially Fatal’ and they were willing to kill somebody if a doctor told them to do it,”

Kennedy praised the doctors and scientists who have the courage to speak up on medical protocols that work for COVID. He said the fact that they are being silenced is “not America … it’s not debate. It’s not, ‘let me see your evidence. It’s ‘these people are dangerous. They need to be silenced.’”

He ended by calling for action:

“You know, what all of us need to understand is that our country is under attack right now … What is our country? Is it just a place where you can come and accumulate a big pile for yourself and whoever dies with the most stuff wins, or is it the landscapes? Is it the purple mountains majesties? Is it the population, the diversity, etcetera?

“It’s all those things. But more than anything else it’s our Constitution. It’s the statement of shared values that holds us all together as a people. And we’re saying to the rest of the world that we believe something in our country, more strongly than anybody else believes, which is that we have to love our liberties more than we fear a disease.”

I am including my essay from last week's "Truth Resets Lies" here:

In Mid October 2019 COP 201 was hastily convened to war-game a coronavirus pandemic sweeping the world, and how countries might mobilize to meet this global threat. Bill Gates, the WHO, Johns Hopkins and governments of the world all participated. At this moment in time, by my reckoning, SARS-CoV-2 was already spreading in the US, China and Europe, and the Wuhan (military olympic) Games were underway, with all participants staying in a huge hotel complex.
A few participants, including  Americans, were hospitalized with a weird viral pneumonia...
Meanwhile, back in Manhattan, concurrent with COP 201, the Fed had to take over the overnight repo-window the previous month, September, because there was some kind of occult crisis of trust between the major banks of the world, and they could not loan to each other overnight based on good collateral (T-bills).
This now appears to have been due to the long-awaited crisis of derivative counterparty-risk.
They are not different things. The leveraged house-of-cards of global finance was quivering a bit...
Kill two birds with one stone. No, make that three birds. No, the whole damned flock of seagulls!
All of the players from global finance, global governance, global military and global medical and pharmacology were sitting at this big table working out the Great Reset. ("If you are not AT the table, you are ON the table", I have heard.)
What we are seeing and living now is the unfolding of the plans they worked out at this crisis summit. They maintain ownership. They maintain control of the system. The system appears to function as it did in the past, but only through vast daily creation of faith-based money.
"Faith" is sustained through the giddy form of greed that people feel when they are riding the peak of a bubble higher and higher, "to infinity and beyond".
Ths "smart" money is buying up any property it can find, before the faith-based money turns into a pumpkin at midnight. (Hey, what time is it!)
There can be no "rebuild back better", because fossil fuels, mineral ores and fossil water are all in decline, while parasitic rents on real economy are choking it to death. Since it is already "what's for dinner", it needs to be cast as "what is necessary to save the planet". Nobody in power has to lose power. The system stays the same, with some necessary adjustments.
Regular people, those of us not-at-the-table, need to understand that we are in climate crisis (we are) and that the only way out is to give up all of our property rights and all of our constitutional rights, and to allow our choices to be made for us, for the good of all of the life on Planet Earth.
Otherwise, there is no plan at all.
Obviously, only the people with experience at the top echelons of global governance, finance and public health have the broad enough vision to lead us forward into this crisis which was completely unforeseeable (except to people who read the obscure 1973 book "The Limits To Growth", which I learned about in 1974, and Deng Xiaopeng also read about that time. I hear his thinking was much influenced by it.)
I must sheepishly admit that I am not really going along with this plan, even though it's the best thing for all of us. I'm just going to try to spend cash while I have a little, grow vegetables, be a friend, a neighbor, "uncle John", "Dad", and so on. I don't have a real plan for global, national, regional, local and household economies for our whole world. AI computers can probably work that all out these days. In the past, there always had to be a collapse of the upper levels of management, finance and government, and the economies had to re-set from the ground-level of production, distribution and consumption on up.
That always took a decade or more. It also always seemed to waste most of the valuable executive talent at the pinnacle of the financial and governance hierarchy.
We can scarcely afford to lose our leaders in this critical moment of crisis, now can we?    (facetious)

Though I have little to show, but my botched scale drawing (1 box is 1 square foot), work has commenced on the pier and beam foundation preparation for the additional small house at the Yoakum homestead. The rise of about 20 inches from the low point to the high point got graded with a Bobcat yesterday, and 33 holes will be bored out for 33 reinforced concrete piers today. A lot of planning, provisioning and preparation is fairly invisible, but it is still progress. The plumber also looked everything over with me yesterday at the site. He has done a lot of work for us in the past few years, as has the electrician, who rewired the 1957 house.

Indecisive Victory

 Learning Synonyms,

"Died Suddenly" is the new "Rare" in the world of coronavirus vaccines. Lots of healthy young athletes are just dropping dead lately. Thanks Jeremy.
SURGE OF SPORTS PEOPLE WORLDWIDE SUFFERING UNEXPECTED ILL HEALTH
The list of sudden 'events' amongst the world's most fit and healthy, is extending daily.
The COVID vaccines are the most dangerous vaccines in human history... by a long shot
The smallpox vaccine used to be the most dangerous vaccine in human history. The COVID vaccines are over 800 times more deadly.

Here's the real reason Comirnaty is not available
It's all about liability. It will magically become available when the vaccine for children is fully approved, not before.

The reason Comirnaty isn’t available is because those shots would expose the company to liability since the fully-licensed product doesn’t have the liability waiver of the EUA product.
But once the Pfizer vaccine is fully approved in kids, then Pfizer gets liability waiver on all age groups due to a “feature” in federal law for child vaccines (NCVIA). At that time, they are done. They can market the COVID vaccine products under full approval for all age groups and face no liability when it kills or disables you.

Are excess deaths in Scotland this summer and fall due to COVID-19 vaccinations? Why do the rises in excess deaths per age group track the vaccine rollout by age with about a 6 month delay?
Thanks Doc. Robinson

SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, which is created in response to vaccines available in the US, enters cell nuclei and inhibits DNA repair functions, causing increased rates of mutation and inhibition of adaptive immunity. This inhibits immune reasons and appears likely to increase cancer rates among recipients over time. stay tuned.

Whole, inactivated virus (traditional) vaccines, such as Sinovac, also have longer term adverse reactions in the kidneys, and seem to cause a sustained metabolic shift towards diabetes. This writer is "colorful" but checks his facts well.

Hundreds of trial participants at one center, with typical COVID-19 symptoms, were never tested forCOVID, due to staffing shortage, for instance...
In autumn 2020 Pfizer’s chairman and chief executive, Albert Bourla, released an open letter to the billions of people around the world who were investing their hopes in a safe and effective covid-19 vaccine to end the pandemic. “As I’ve said before, we are operating at the speed of science,” Bourla wrote, explaining to the public when they could expect a Pfizer vaccine to be authorised in the United States.1
But, for researchers who were testing Pfizer’s vaccine at several sites in Texas during that autumn, speed may have come at the cost of data integrity and patient safety. A regional director who was employed at the research organisation Ventavia Research Group has told The BMJ that the company falsified data, unblinded patients, employed inadequately trained vaccinators, and was slow to follow up on adverse events reported in Pfizer’s pivotal phase III trial. Staff who conducted quality control checks were overwhelmed by the volume of problems they were finding. After repeatedly notifying Ventavia of these problems, the regional director, Brook Jackson, emailed a complaint to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Ventavia fired her later the same day. Jackson has provided The BMJ with dozens of internal company documents, photos, audio recordings, and emails...

Members of the European Parliament were told in the spring that "green passes" would get the EU traveling again and revive the economy, then be phased out. That was a lie. They cannot even see any actual details of contracts with vaccine manufacturers. Everything of substance is completely redacted by page after page og black marker lines. They are about to be excluded from Parliament, if not "voluntarily" vaccinated , after "informed consent". Some are protesting this.

OSHA is expected to release a formal rule on the federal employee vaccine mandate in coming days

The Biden administration has released the new rule from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requiring 84 million private sector workers to get vaccinated for COVID-19. The administration has also announced its rule from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Assistance (CMS) requiring 17 million healthcare workers participating in federal health programs to be vaccinated. The White House is also pushing back the deadline for workers in those sectors, as well as federal contractors, to get fully vaccinated to Jan. 4, 2022...

Charles Hugh Smith looks at why it has been hard to restart global supply chains, and why they can't catch up, or even slow down, without gross impairment.
What's absolutely out of stock are 1) stability and 2) the means to restore global supply chains to their previous working order.
Unbeknownst to the vast herds consuming the goodies stuffed in those 8,000 containers per ship, the entire supply chain has been optimized to function within a very narrow band. Once it veers out of that band, it unravels very quickly and cannot be restored to its previous optimization.
There are a number of reasons for this inability to put Humpty-Dumpty back together again.
1. Everything that's needed to restore stability has been stripped out by optimizing profits. Redundancy, excess capacity, stockpiles, multiple sources, domestic sources--all those cost money and are therefore the mortal enemies of increasing profits, so they've all been stripped out of the system long ago.
2. There is just enough of everything to function in the optimized band, and adding more capacity quickly is impossible. There are just enough gasoline/diesel tankers to make the optimal deliveries, and no surplus tankers to add to the network. And even if there were super-costly tanker-trucks gathering dust in a lot, there wouldn't be any surplus drivers with the credentials and experience to drive them...
These multitudes of intermediaries generate long dependency chains which break if even one link goes down.
3. The instinctive human response to scarcity is to stockpile what's scarce or even threatening to become scarce...
Count the intermediaries between the source of the stuff you need and your house and you'll have a decent grasp of your vulnerability to global supply chain breakdowns. Very few of us know enough to count the intermediaries, and we might reckon there's a few dozen at most. In many cases, the true number is in the hundreds once we count the components, specialty materials, glues, solvents, packaging, delivery, etc. in every part of the production and shipping chain.

Julian Assange's forever-trial is the most critical battle for press freedom of our time, and he is held completely vulnerable in extended isolation.
Assange is being extradited because his organization WikiLeaks released the Iraq War Logs in October 2010, which documented numerous US war crimes — including video images of the gunning down of two Reuters journalists and 10 other unarmed civilians in the Collateral murder video, the routine torture of Iraqi prisoners, the covering up of thousands of civilian deaths and the killing of nearly 700 civilians that had approached too closely to US checkpoints. He is also being targeted by US authorities for other leaks, especially those that exposed  the hacking tools used by the CIA known as Vault 7, which enables the spy agency to compromise cars, smart TVs, web browsers and the operating systems of most smart phones, as well as operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, macOS and Linux.
If Assange is extradited and found guilty of publishing classified material, it will set a legal precedent that will effectively end national security reporting, allowing the government to use the Espionage Act to charge any reporter who possesses classified documents, and any whistleblower who leaks classified information.

Eleni sends this article, "The Decisive Battle", which describes the strategy of the Imperial Japanese Navy in WW-2 to strike the US suddenly, weakening its fleet, and hoping that it would attack immediately with the weakened fleet, so that Japan might temporarily maintain an upper hand. That was the only possible scenario in which Japan stood a chance to not be defeated, but it was under an embargo for oil, coal and mineral ores, and could either retreat and become a target for rivals, or attack.
The US had the advantage of being well stocked with materials, vastly more manpower, and an industrial base far removed from bombing attacks. The US did not attack promptly, and did not lose any aircraft carriers, which Roosevelt had removed in November, when he learned of the approaching fleet. (This author does not appear to know that.)
Risking everything on a decisive battle was a desperate strategy, and military experts in Japan knew that, but they had no good options. This author draws the parallel to the American political battle to unseat Trump's presidency at any cost, which was done (he thinks semi-fairly. I don't.) However, the large American population of working deplorables is more economically critical than the professional-managerial-class in the longer term, so has the same advantage that America had over Japan in a protracted conflict.
The sarcastic battle cry of this movement has now been raised: "Let's Go Brandon!"
Huh?
"For those of you who don’t know the context: at a recent NASCAR event in New Jersey, the crowd could be heard chanting ”Fuck Joe Biden!” after the race. During an interview with the winner of the race – a man named Brandon Brown – the flustered reporter, hearing the chant, then says on camera that the crowd must be very enthused for Brandon, as they’re all chanting ”Let’s go Brandon!” in his honor. Of course, they crowd is doing no such thing, and she and everyone else knows it."
This quirky, humorous greeting has become the name of 4 of the top 10 songs recently, which are rather crude, and typically "white-supremacist" rap style, though performed by African Americans, for some reason.
The casual "Let's Go Brandon" remark refers to a shared view of the pervasive lying of the corporate media, and simultaneously mocks it as a laughing stock.
This snide remark is intolerable to the professional-managerial-class, because it usurps their sarcastic tone of intellectual superiority.
It's beside the point that they would commonly use no code words at all when talking about Chief MAGA Deplorable Trump last year. That was different!
The premise of the author is that the "decisive battle" was won, but no lasting arrangement was made, so the redundant managerial class must eventually capitulate.

Truth Resets Lies

 Illuminating Reality,

Thanks Doc Robinson for finding this. Researchers falsified the data about mRNA vaccines causing early miscarriages. They do cause a lot of early miscarriages when they are given early in pregnancy.
Spontaneous Abortions and Policies on COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine Use During Pregnancy
  Abstract
The use of mRNA vaccines in pregnancy is now generally considered safe for protection against COVID-19 in countries such as New Zealand, USA, and Australia. However, the influential CDC sponsored article by Shimabukuro et al. (2021) used to support this idea, on closer inspection, provides little assurance, particularly for those exposed in early pregnancy. The study presents falsely reassuring statistics related to the risk of spontaneous abortion in early pregnancy, since the majority of women in the calculation were exposed to the mRNA product after the outcome period was defined (20 weeks’ gestation). In this article, we draw attention to these errors and recalculate the risk of this outcome based on the cohort that was exposed to the vaccine before 20 weeks’ gestation. Our re-analysis indicates a cumulative incidence of spontaneous abortion 7 to 8 times higher than the original authors’ results (p < 0.001) and the typical average for pregnancy loss during this time period. In light of these findings, key policy decisions have been made using unreliable and questionable data.

How does my body not develop cancer most days? There are multiple specific mechanisms of genetic error-correction, followed by surveillance for abnormal proteins by the immune system, and destruction of mutated cells. Jeremy sends this cell-culture article showing that COVID-19 spike protein, created under influence of both virus and vaccination, directly interferes with the function of 2 important DNA error-correcting protein enzymes, BRCA1 and 53BP1.
SARS–CoV–2 Spike Impairs DNA Damage Repair and Inhibits V(D)J Recombination In Vitro
...Adaptive immunity plays a crucial role in fighting against SARS–CoV–2 infection and directly influences the clinical outcomes of patients. Clinical studies have indicated that patients with severe COVID–19 exhibit delayed and weak adaptive immune responses; however, the mechanism by which SARS–CoV–2 impedes adaptive immunity remains unclear. Here, by using an in vitro cell line, we report that the SARS–CoV–2 spike protein significantly inhibits DNA damage repair, which is required for effective V(D)J recombination in adaptive immunity. Mechanistically, we found that the spike protein localizes in the nucleus and inhibits DNA damage repair by impeding key DNA repair protein BRCA1 and 53BP1 recruitment to the damage site. Our findings reveal a potential molecular mechanism by which the spike protein might impede adaptive immunity and underscore the potential side effects of full-length spike-based vaccines.

The CDC's expert on VAERS hasn't computed the URF or spotted any safety signals.
His negligence has led to the death of over 150,000 Americans. It was deliberate. Here's the proof.
We could not find any evidence that Dr. Su (CDC) has ever computed the underreporting factor (URF) for the COVID vaccines. This is extremely troubling because the correct URF is required to compute an accurate cost-benefit analysis. Had the committees had the correct URF, these vaccines would have been stopped immediately.
Once you have the correct URF, it is clear that the vaccines kill more people than they save for all age ranges. They are nonsensical, even if they were 100% effective. This is why Su’s error was critical: at a URF of 1, the vaccines are viable; at a URF of 41 they are nonsensical.
A URF of 41 reveals that the true myocarditis rate for 16 year old boys is close to 1 in 325. That is not rare; it’s a train wreck. The 5 year survival rate of those kids is completely unknown. Any cardiologist who says that you have “nothing to worry about if your kid gets myocarditis from the vaccine” is lying to you. We haven’t got a clue.

Comprehensive investigations revealed consistent pathophysiological alterations after vaccination with COVID-19 vaccines
Abstract:
Large-scale COVID-19 vaccinations are currently underway in many countries in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Here, we report, besides generation of neutralizing antibodies, consistent alterations in hemoglobin A1c, serum sodium and potassium levels, coagulation profiles, and renal functions in healthy volunteers after vaccination with an inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine. Similar changes had also been reported in COVID-19 patients, suggesting that vaccination mimicked an infection. Single-cell mRNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) before and 28 days after the first inoculation also revealed consistent alterations in gene expression of many different immune cell types. Reduction of CD8+ T cells and increase in classic monocyte contents were exemplary. Moreover, scRNA-seq revealed increased NF-κB signaling and reduced type I interferon responses, which were confirmed by biological assays and also had been reported to occur after SARS-CoV-2 infection with aggravating symptoms. Altogether, our study recommends additional caution when vaccinating people with pre-existing clinical conditions, including diabetes, electrolyte imbalances, renal dysfunction, and coagulation disorders.

19 Studies on Vaccine Efficacy that Raise Doubts on Vaccine Mandates
BY PAUL ELIAS ALEXANDER
As some people have now been vaccinated for more than half a year, evidence is pouring in about Covid vaccine efficacy. When evaluating vaccine efficacy, it is important to distinguish between efficacy against infection, symptomatic disease, and transmission versus efficacy against hospitalization and death. For infection and symptomatic disease, the COVID-19 vaccines are not as efficacious as hoped, with immunity gradually waning after a few months. For hospitalization and death, immunity is stronger, lasting for at least six months.
The gestalt of the findings implies that the infection explosion globally that we have been experiencing– post double vaccination in e.g. Israel, UK, US etc. –may be due to the vaccinated spreading Covid as much or more than the unvaccinated.
A natural question to ask is whether vaccines with limited capacity to prevent symptomatic disease may drive the evolution of more virulent strains? ...
What these studies show, are that vaccines are important to reduce severe disease and death, but unable to prevent the disease from spreading and eventually infect most of us. That is, while the vaccines provide individual benefits to the vaccinee, and especially to older high-risk people, the public benefit of universal vaccination is in grave doubt. As such, Covid vaccines should not be expected to contribute to eliminating the communal spread of the virus or the reaching of herd immunity. This unravels the rationale for vaccine mandates and passports.

COVID-19 Mortality Risk Correlates Inversely with Vitamin D3 Status, and a Mortality Rate Close to Zero Could Theoretically Be Achieved at 50 ng/mL 25(OH)D3: Results of a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Results: One population study and seven clinical studies were identified, which reported D3 blood levels preinfection or on the day of hospital admission. The two independent datasets showed a negative Pearson correlation of D3 levels and mortality risk (r(17) = -0.4154, p = 0.0770/r(13) = -0.4886, p = 0.0646). For the combined data, median (IQR) D3 levels were 23.2 ng/mL (17.4-26.8), and a significant Pearson correlation was observed (r(32) = -0.3989, p = 0.0194).
Regression suggested a theoretical point of zero mortality at approximately 50 ng/mL D3.
Conclusions: The datasets provide strong evidence that low D3 is a predictor rather than just a side effect of the infection. Despite ongoing vaccinations, we recommend raising serum 25(OH)D levels to above 50 ng/mL to prevent or mitigate new outbreaks due to escape mutations or decreasing antibody activity.

A Global Oil Shortage Is Inevitable
...Chronic underinvestment in new oil supply since the 2015 crisis and the pressure on oil and gas companies to curb emissions and even “keep it in the ground” will likely lead to peak global oil production earlier than previously expected, analysts say.
This would be a welcome development for green energy advocates, net-zero agendas, and the planet if it weren’t for one simple fact: oil demand is rebounding from the pandemic-driven slump and will set a new average annual record as soon as next year.
The energy transition and the various government plans for net-zero emissions have prompted analysts to forecast that peak oil demand would occur earlier than expected just a few years ago. However, as current investment trends in oil and gas stand, global oil supply could peak sooner than global oil demand...

COP26 & The Great Reset: The Not So Glorious Prospect of Owning Nothing and Passing a Cold, Dark Winter, Cynthia Chung
President Putin also had to make the point that countries need to tell Russia whether they want the gas supply to be increased, that Russia is meeting the present contractual demands and that if there is a demand to increase the supply, Russia can do it, but it needs to be a contract. Russia is not simply going to increase its supply to European nations without their official request for such a thing.
So, thus far we have found out that Russia has increased its supply of gas to Europe since the beginning of the year, that the US accounts for half of the cuts to the supply to Europe, that the energy shortage in Europe was caused by an over-reliance on wind and solar energy and that Nord Stream 2 (which has been strongly opposed by the US and Green Energy advocates) has the capability to restabilize gas prices and meet supply demands, that Russia is willing to do this, but that there are ongoing European restrictions that are preventing this from happening...
The fight for nuclear energy has always been about the fight for the right to develop one’s nation. (As opposed to being a tributary colony.)
As President Putin stressed the point at the recent “Russia Energy Week International Forum”:
“To reiterate, the rise in natural gas prices in Europe stemmed from shortages of electricity, not the other way around… Systemic flaws have been gradually introduced in European energy over the past decade, which led to a major market crisis in Europe.
As a reminder, when nuclear and natural gas-based generation were the leading energy sources, there were no such crises, and there were no grounds for them… Few people are aware of this, but the nuclear energy’s carbon footprint is lower than that of solar energy. I think even the specialists here are, perhaps, hearing this for the first time.”  (Catastrophic failure risks, and end-of-life management of old reactors are not factored in to that.)
Mark Carney, former director of the Bank of England has called for a “net zero banking alliance” in which banks have agreed not to lend to producers but only to put funds into the green bubble, the carbon bubble and so on. As a result, future energy production will drop even though there are ample resources available, creating further artificial scarcity....
Carney said climate change must become the “fundamental driver of every investment decision or lending decision.” ...
This is where the Great Reset agenda comes in, which will cause a further centralisation of how finance is already coordinated, into the hands of fewer and fewer controllers, giving increasing liquidity to the banking sector but no money for the productive sector...
In addition, Wall Street on Parade has reported that they have reason to believe that the hyperinflation we are presently observing started back in Sept 2019 when a derivatives blow out occurred and to which the Federal Reserve stepped in through the repo markets to provide massive liquidity to banks such as Deutsche Bank, BNP, JP Morgan, Citibank, Bank of America etc.
This hyperinflationary money pumping did not just go to what is claimed to be solely for the covering of short-term corporate loans. The hypothesis of Wall Street on Parade is that the bulk of this money really went to covering up the derivatives blowout that they believe started in Sept 2019.
This is what is truly causing the hyperinflation and is being covered up by labeling it as a supply chain problem of raw material shortages and so on, when in fact it is due to the hyperinflationary money printing, combined with the green new deal policies, which are artificially driving up the prices of gas and coal.

Unscheduled Creative Opportunity

 Variously Engaged,

Since my last blog post last week I have been working on physical projects in the world, mostly at the homestead. The absence of a regimented work schedule has allowed me to work on the 1957 house, getting a giant 24 HP vacuum cleaner in Austin, Saturday morning, driving it and a mess of six inch corrugated hose to Yoakum, and troubleshooting the mess all day, as we got shocked by the hose as we sucked out the old insulation. Static electricity was like rubbing wool on a glass rod, but more so with 24 HP providing the rub. The worst piece of hose was the big problem. It's internally-conductive coil of copper wire was exposed by big cracks, allowing the static sparks to jump to human bodies (impressive visuals in the dark attic).
I did not do much of that work in the attic, but enough to "get a feel" for what was happening. None of us wants to do that again.
I told the rental place about the piece of tubing I had tagged with steel wire "really hurting people". They said they would throw it away.
I would never have had any understanding of this somewhat obscure line of endeavor if I had not taken part in the process.
So what? Yeah, "so what"... That's life and learning. That is actually doing things, instead of signing an order. It's different.

For years I have been making scale drawings of houses to build, none of which has been built. I have been studying books about building and remodeling for those same years. I have the books, with highlighted passages, and good illustrations. I have been reviewing them again. I have been drawing pictures again, but this time we are setting out to actually build a modest little house, mainly kitchen and living/dining area, with a combined bathroom and laundry room, and some finished-out attic space. It will attach to the main house via a very short covered walkway. That makes it meet code as an "addition".
The contractor has been doing much of the maintenance on the existing house, and we got to talk and draw this weekend. My friend, Lester, an Architectural Engineer, is being tremendously helpful with advice as to what works to safely and securely construct our ideas.
I am including a drawing of the internal space of the first floor, about 25 ft. X 32 ft. internally, with a 13 X 8 ft. screen porch coming off the back/kitchen door.
This structure will come off the end of the house, which was seen in the background of the last blog post, behind the Mexican avocado trees. Each square represents one square foot of floor space. The sliding glass door looks out to the avocado orchard. (There is a pull-down ladder to the attic, not shown, because I can't upload the scanned image of the updated drawing.)

For now, my abstract ideas are being helped by the much greater experience of the building contractor and the Architectural Engineer, helping us all to proceed carefully and avoid errors. We are communicating well. We all intend to "measure twice; cut once".
Though this has long been a plan of mine, it is made possible by my firing from the clinic for non-compliance with vaccine-mandate, changed to being fired-for-cause at the last minute, after the Governor issued an executive order against vaccine mandates a few weeks ago. I am cashing out my very modest retirement plan, which will fund a large portion of this build.
I have wanted to "build my own house" since I was a boy, or at least a youth. I will be completely satisfied to do some of the work and participate in the design  of "my own house" at this stage of my life.

I will post updates of this constructive learning experience as it proceeds.
You might be entertained some days.
We'll see...
