The Way Things Work

Exposing Mechanisms,

Brad Pitt has worked in Hollywood for 30 years, and he has something to say (Thanks Eleni):
"You think Hollywood is about making movies? That's just a byproduct: It's about money, and more importantly, power and control."
"The people who run Hollywood, also run America, and most of the world, and they don't care about movies."
"You've heard of the Illuminati right? The secret societies, the politicians, the bankers and the media - they're the ones running these pedophile rings, and they're the ones that run the world, and it all goes back to Hollywood."
"Kids wanna be in movies, or should I say; parents want their kids to be in movies, and they'll do anything to get them famous"
"Have you ever met the mom of a child actor? They're nuts."
"The parents are basically selling their kids souls for fame."
"One of these [Elites] buys into a movie. A thousand kids go for the lead role, and 100 of them would probably work. Some young kid with a pushy mom turns up who will do anything to get the part."
"The kid gets sent off to some guy that runs a TV network. The network pushes the movie, and the first guy makes loads of money when it's a hit."
"The TV guy will never say a bad thing about the movie because movie guy knows what TV guy did with that young kid."
"The same thing happens with politicians and bankers and the rest of them,"
"It's all backroom deals with kids as bargaining chips."

Understanding the Cryptocurrency Boom (and volatility) Charles Hugh Smith.
(The blockchain protocol is very secure, but very laborious/expensive, and requires the whole internet to be working. This is an ideal global/central banking transaction protocol, good for oil shipments, but not really practical for retail. It's getting beta tested in global retail, drugs and prostitution, and so on. It's currently funded as sort of a Ponzi scheme. Those are not permanent. Blockchain illustrated diagram is helpful)

The next oil crisis will arrive within the next 3 years, either by economic growth outstripping oil supply and causing shortages and high prices, or economy will just collapse, stop growing, shrink, and that breaks the global financial model. (I favor the latter, and believe it is already well underway.) Thanks Charles.

A year of progress in Syria shown in maps. ISIS is melting away.

Russia is quietly building another military base in Syria, in that little green area of southeast Syria, abutting Jordan and Israel (and the occupied Golan Heights) The Green color is the US/Saudi/Israeli backed "Moderate Rebels" aka "al-Qaeda". They are already leaving.

The US media is simultaneously ignoring Sy Hersh's story refuting the Syrian nerve gas attack fake news and trying to counter it, by claiming that Trump warning Syria against another gas attack prevented one. (It looks like a false flag may have been planned and thwarted.)

June was the worst month yet for the once-promising Russiagate industry, sigh..

Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger did not try to become a mediator to arrange a meeting between Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.  "No, he didn’t try, this wasn’t so," Peskov told reporters.  The meeting was held "as a follow-up to the old years-long contacts," Peskov said. "Traditionally, the president and the ex-Secretary of State use these coinciding schedules for holding personal meetings," he said. (So it's a sure thing?)

Why is Afghanistan the "Graveyard of Empires"?
(Good history lesson spans 5000 years.)

"The Qatar Crisis and the Trump Administration's Foreign Policy Dysfunction", is an excerpted analysis of another analysis I read yesterday. (Naaah, these guys can't possibly be so petty and juvenile. It's all Kabuki-theater, meant to subtly mislead. Right? Right?)

"For decades, Qatar has carefully navigated the geopolitical dynamics shaping relations among its three larger neighbors: Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Iraq. Qataris have usually perceived one of these three Persian Gulf powers as the primary threat and responded by growing closer to the other two. At this juncture amid the Qatar crisis, Doha will likely deepen its relations with Iran and Iraq to counter-balance pressure from Saudi Arabia and other Sunni countries that took action against the Arabian emirate in early June." (More good perspective.)

When traveling in Florida and Hawaii, be sure to avoid eating snails and stuff they slime, rat feces and frogs. There's no cure for the brain worms you'll get.
