Deciding Who We Are

 Insightful Humans,

Caitlin Johnstone could point out that this is a pressing question about our present, and about who we really are:
Gaza Asks Us A Question About What Kind Of Future We Want To Have
The future we are being shown through the window of Gaza is dark. Dark, dark, dark, dark. They’re currently using artificial intelligence to create kill lists and to determine when its targets will be at home with their families to ensure maximum civilian deaths. We used to worry about a dark future where humans send machines to go kill people indiscriminately, but it turns out it’s actually happening the other way around — we’re programming machines to tell us who to kill. The horror in our present dystopia isn’t so much autonomous murderbots as ethical decisions about killing being outsourced to AI.
We’re being asked to accept this and move forward in this direction into the future. We’re being asked to walk into the future holding the assumption that it’s fine and normal for our governments to knowingly support an unforgivable act of mass slaughter upon the inhabitants of a giant concentration camp. We’re being asked to walk into the future holding the assumption that it’s fine and normal for the mass media to lie and distort and misinform the public about a matter of such urgent importance day after day, month after month.   We’re being asked to walk into the future holding the assumption that it’s fine and normal for a blatant genocide to take place right in front of our faces, and then move on as though nothing happened.

Brutal, chaotic war – norms, conventions and laws of conduct are being erased , Alastair Crooke
We stand on the cusp of what might be termed Chaotic War. Not the formula often used by Israel to intimidate adversaries; this is different.
Israeli reporter Eddie Cohen said, in the wake of the attack on the Iranian Consulate: “We are very clear that we want to start a war with Iran and Hezbollah. Do you still not understand?”...
..Trita Parsi places Israel’s objective in attacking the Iranian Consulate in Damascus in a different context:
“An important aspect of Israel’s conduct – and Biden’s acquiescence to it – is that Israel is engaged in a deliberate and systematic effort to destroy existing laws and norms around warfare".
Even during wartime, embassies are off-limits [yet] Israel just bombed an Iranian diplomatic compound in Damascus.
Bombing hospitals is a war crime, [yet] Israel has bombed EVERY hospital in Gaza. It has even assassinated doctors and patients inside hospitals.
The ICJ obligated Israel to allow the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. Israel actively prevents aid from coming in.
Starvation of civilians as a method of warfare is prohibited under international humanitarian law. Israel has deliberately created a famine in Gaza.
Indiscriminate bombings are illegal under international humanitarian law. Biden himself admits that Israel is bombing Gaza indiscriminately”....
..Israel’s aim, firstly, is to destroy the norms, conventions and laws of warfare; to create geo-political anarchy in which anything goes, and by which, with the White House frustrated, yet acquiescing to each norm of conduct obtrusively trodden underfoot, allows Netanyahu to grip the U.S. bridle and lead the White House horse to water – towards his regional End of Times ‘Great Victory’; a necessarily brutal war – beyond existing red lines and devoid of limits.
As symbolically significant as the Damascus attack is that the U.S., France and Britain – after a brief ‘hat tip’ to the Vienna Convention – refused to condemn the levelling of the Iranian Consulate, thus placing the shadow of doubt over the Vienna Convention’s immunity for diplomatic premises.
Implicitly, this refusal to condemn will be widely understood as a soft condoning of Israel’s first tentative step towards war with Hizbullah and Iran...
..Yet, there is a second, adjunct reason why Israel is set on deliberately flouting humanitarian law and norms: Israeli journalist, Yuval Abraham reports in +972 Magazine in great depth how Israel has developed a AI machine (called ‘Lavender’) to generate kill lists in Gaza – with almost no human verification; only a “rubber stamp” check of about “20 seconds” to make sure the AI target is male (as no females are known to belong to the Resistance’s military).
The blatant extra-legality behind the Gaza ‘kill list’ methodology, as reported by Abraham’s various sources, can only be immunised and sheltered through normalising them as but one amongst a general pattern of illegalities – and in effect, claiming sovereign exceptionalism:
“[T]he Israeli army systematically attacks the targeted individual whilst in their homes — usually at night whilst the whole family is present — rather than during the course of military activity … Additional automated systems, including one, [callously] called “Where’s Daddy?” were used – specifically to track targets when they had entered their family’s residences… However, when a home was struck, usually at night, the individual target was sometimes not inside at all”...
..“”We were not interested in killing [Hamas] operatives when they were in a military building … or engaged in a military activity,” A., an intelligence officer, told +972 and Local Call. “On the contrary, the IDF bombed them in homes without hesitation – as a first option. It’s much easier to bomb a family’s home. The system is built to look for them in these situations”.
“In addition … when it came to targeting alleged junior militants marked by Lavender, the army preferred to only use unguided missiles, commonly known as “dumb” bombs (in contrast to “smart” precision bombs) which can destroy entire buildings on top of their occupants and cause significant casualties. “You don’t want to waste expensive bombs on unimportant people — it’s very expensive for the country and there’s a shortage [of those bombs]”.
“… The army also decided during the first weeks of the war that, for every junior Hamas operative that Lavender marked, it was permissible to kill up to 15 or 20 civiliansin the event that the target was a senior Hamas official with the rank of battalion or brigade commander – the army on several occasions authorized the killing of more than 100 civilians in the assassination of a single commander”.
“Lavender — which was developed to create human targets in the current war — has marked some 37,000 Palestinians as suspected “Hamas militants”, most of them junior, for assassination (the IDF Spokesperson denied the existence of such a kill list in a statement to +972 and Local Call)”.

Even With AI 'Kill List', Israel 'No Closer to Achieving' Goals Six Months Into Gaza War
Sunday marked the six-month anniversary of the Israel-Hamas war, with Tel Aviv finding itself increasingly isolated abroad, and the Israeli military humbled after getting bogged down in the ruins of Gaza's cities by militants armed mostly with automatic rifles and RPGs...
..The Israel Defense Forces announced Sunday that the "active invasion stage" of its campaign in Gaza had reached its end, withdrawing elements of Division 98 from Khan Yunis, southern Gaza while marking the intention to continue the occupation the strip’s central and northern areas using forces from the 162nd Division’s Brigade 401 and the 933rd Nahal Brigade...   “The division left the Gaza Strip in order to recuperate and prepare for future operations.”...
..Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stressed that an operation at the Rafah checkpoint separating Gaza from Egypt was still planned, but offered no further details...
..Netanyahu said “there will be no ceasefire without the return of hostages.”...
..While the IDF assures that the shift in its operations has nothing to do with mounting international pressure on Israel, Israeli media have said that the “timing was unmistakable,” and likely connected to backlash stemming from the IDF’s targeted killings of seven humanitarian aid workers in Gaza last week.
Sunday’s shift in approach comes days after Israel announced the opening of the Erez Crossing separating northern Gaza from southern Israel, and allowed the temporary use of Ashdod Port for aid deliveries amid reported threats by Washington – its main foreign sponsor, to cut off arms aid...
.."Hamas continues to engage Israeli forces in skirmishes. Israeli hostages are still in Hamas captivity and the civilian toll is mounting by the minute. Israel refuses to accept a political solution to end the war because the right-wing government of Prime Minister Netanyahu has made a 'virtue' out of this conflict,” Dr. Akbarzadeh said...
..Gaza authorities estimate that over 33,175 residents of the Strip have been killed since October 7, with close to 75,900 people wounded and 8,000+ going missing. These figures taken together represent well over 5 percent of Gaza’s prewar population, and have prompted allegations by some countries charging Israel with engaging in acts of genocide. Israel has denied the claims. Deaths in Gaza have surpassed all Arab losses in wars with Israel since at least the 1980s and Israel’s invasion and occupation of southern Lebanon, with more children killed in Gaza since October 2023 than the combined child casualties of conflicts worldwide between 2019 and 2022.    https://sputnikglobe.com/20240407/even-with-ai-kill-list-israel-no-closer-to-achieving-goals-six-months-into-gaza-war-1117800746.html

I have long observed that "there are 2 kinds of Christians": Just nuke Gaza, get it over quick, advises U.S. Representative Tim Walberg, Evangelical Zionist
On March 25, U.S. Representative Tim Walberg, Republican of Michigan, was speaking at a town hall meeting in Dundee, Michigan. He was asked a question about why U.S. money is being spent to build a port to deliver humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
Walberg said, “It’s (President) Joe Biden’s reason. I don’t think we should. I don’t think any of our aid that goes to Israel to support our greatest ally, arguably maybe in the world, to defeat Hamas, and Iran and Russia and probably North Korea’s in there and China too, with them helping Hamas. We shouldn’t be spending a dime on humanitarian aid. It should be like Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Get it over quick.” ...  Walberg spokesman Mike Rorke confirmed the validity of the video...
..Walberg spoke on how his religion guides his support for Israel. He said the main reason he fervently believes the U.S. must support Israel is because he believes God supports Israel.
“I read the Torah, I’ve read the entire Old Testament,” Walberg said. “What God condemns, I condemn. Who God loves I will love. If I don’t, I’m a sinner.”
Walberg went on to say that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has “moral clarity.” “The most impressive experience was being able to be with Bibi Netanyahu,” Walberg said. “In his presence, I understand very clearly he knows good from evil, right from wrong, success from failure.”

Israeli MK Nissim Vaturi, a representative in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's ruling Likud party, issued a not-so-veiled threat on Saturday suggesting that if America doesn't supply Israel with weapons aid then Israel will use nuclear weapons. "In the event of a conflict with Iran, if we do not receive American ammunition - we will have to use everything we have..." Vaturi ominously said.  https://www.informationliberation.com/?id=64371

Moon of Alabama, Two Israeli Actions Misfired, Pushed Netanyahoo Into Retreat
Several recent incidents have increased the pressure on Israel to end its war on Gaza.
There are serious signs that the Israeli government, under pressure from the U.S., is now moving towards an intermediate ceasefire state that all sides may be able to live with - at least for a while. The decision to do that however has split the Netanyahoo government and may well end the coalition which supports it...
..Yesterday Israel withdrew its last but one brigade from Gaza. Many in Israel interpreted this as an admittance of defeat:
Is this how the war ends? Not with a bang, or even a whimper, but with the IDF pulling its ground forces out of Khan Younis, and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant asserting, in defiance of reality, that Hamas has “stopped functioning as a military organization throughout the Gaza Strip,” contradicting himself in the next breath, and clarifying a few hours later?
As Israel on Sunday marked six months since the October 7 massacre, the two prime declared goals of the war — destroying Hamas’s military capabilities and bringing home the remaining 129 hostages abducted that day — are patently unfulfilled...

..“After half a year,” Dvori unhappily summed up, “Israel remains with three big problems: how to return the hostages; how to bring the residents back home in the south and north [who were evacuated due to the fighting]; and how to set up an alternative to Hamas” to administer the Strip. “If Israel cannot achieve a framework for this, and I don’t know of one, then we are entering a very big problem for Israel,” he concluded.
The radicals in Israel's government also interpret this as a defeat of their aims. They are threatening to blow up their coalition with Netanyahoo over this:
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich issues a statement calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to immediately convene the security cabinet to discuss the state of the war in Gaza, after the army pulled forces out of the southern Strip....
.The Netanyahoo government had gotten too cocky. Its army's attack on U.S. supported charity workers and its attack on the Iranian embassy in Damascus finally pushed the U.S. government to withdraw its support for the war. Without support from the U.S. there is no way for Israel to continue a fight. Netanyahoo had to give up and did so.  We thus may now move towards a new balance of a lesser war which may sustain for a while but which can not be permanent.  https://www.moonofalabama.org/2024/04/two-israeli-actions-misfired-pushed-netanyahoo-into-retreat-.html#more

M.K. Bhadrakumar breaks-out the happy-sauce, which seems premature to me.  Gaza War ends. Will Biden get a Nobel?
Call it what you will, but it is a significant climbdown by Israel with much unfinished business, as it were: release of all the hostages; return of residents back home in the south and north; a set-up to administer Gaza Strip where Hamas remains de facto the leadership with massive popular backing. Gen. Halevi put a brave face on the score card, asserting this does not signal the end of war but only, “we’re fighting this war differently … Senior Hamas officials are still in hiding. We will get to them sooner or later… We have plans and we will act when we decide.”
This unceremonious end to the war after six months is almost certainly linked to the reported progress in the negotiations over the release of hostages. It is also not as if the score card is empty.
The Damascus strike is a severe blow to the Quds Force of Iran’s IRGC at the operational level in both Iraq and Syria. Tehran has a noble tradition of eyeing martyrdom as the ultimate victory for its generals. Indeed, Gen. Mohammad Reza Zahedi didn’t attain martyrdom in vain.
As for Israel, well, it has bought time. On the other hand, no matter what Gen. Halevi says about living to fight another day, there is the bigger picture, in which a truce-hostage deal is finally taking shape, which creates an entirely new dynamic all around — most significantly, in the domestic politics that would generate new tidings. Israel is traditionally quick to adapt to alien circumstances. For the second time, Israel is retrenching from Gaza but this time with its international standing as the Middle East’s cats whiskers irreparably damaged. That creates an imperative need to change. What emerges is that Israel can no longer take for granted unconditional, seamless American support.
Quintessentially, Hamas’ victory is Iran’s sweet revenge, too. It makes an Iranian retaliation against Damascus attack somewhat redundant, in a manner of speaking. The prominent Israeli commentator David Horowitz wrote with biting sarcasm, “Is this how the war ends? Not with a bang, or even a whimper…” But if an inconclusive war can still produce peace as its outcome, it must be welcomed.
The biggest winner is going to be Biden. Unlike Barack Obama, he worked to earn it. All the guile and doublespeak in his tool kit as a politician has been in full display. He held on steadfast despite all round criticism for doing nothing, whereas, he had set a goal for himself and was clear-headed about his objective. Will he walk away laughing in an election victory in November holding a Nobel as his trophy?

US Reluctant to Cut Off Israel's Arms Pipeline Despite Gaza Deaths
U.S. President Joe Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday that the strike on humanitarian workers and the overall humanitarian situation in Gaza were "unacceptable." White House national security communications adviser John Kirby said the US did not know whether American-supplied weapons were used in the Israeli strike...
..Now, a growing choir of voices in Congress is demanding that the Biden administration either restrict or halt arms shipments to Israel.
Forty members of the US Congress have sent a joint letter to US President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken calling for an end to the transfer of offensive weapons to Israel.
"We write to express our shared concern and outrage regarding the recent Israeli airstrike which killed seven World Central Kitchen aid workers, including an American citizen. In light of this incident, we strongly urge you to reconsider your recent decision to authorize the transfer of a new arms package to Israel, and to withhold this and any future offensive arms transfers until a full investigation into the airstrike is completed," the letter read.
The members of US Congress also called on Washington to ensure that future military deliveries to Israel, including already authorized transfers, are "subject to conditions to ensure it is used in compliance with US and international law," the letter added.
Like several previous US administrations, the Biden team has been loath to impose any restrictions on US military aid to Israel...
..Recently fulfilled orders to Israel have included munitions such as 250- to 2,000-pound bombs, the NYT quoted an unnamed official as confirming.
Three new Israeli arms orders reportedly exceeded the price threshold requiring congressional review. However, they were pushed through by Secretary of State Antony Blinken by invoking "emergency" authority. Two of the orders were for artillery shells and tank ammunition and were worth over $253 million, the report added.

More Than 500,000 Democratic Voters Protest Biden’s Support of Gaza Slaughter
More than half a million people have cast protest votes against President Biden’s support for the Israeli slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza in Democratic primaries across the country.
According to The Nation, 530,502 people voted “uncommitted” or “uninstructed” where it’s available on the ballot. The movement started in Michigan, a significant swing state, where over 100,000 people voted “uncommitted.”
Last week, 48,091 votes were cast for “uninstructed” in the Wisconsin primary. The turnout far exceeded organizers’ expectations, as their goal was to secure 20,682, the margin of victory for Biden in Wisconsin for the 2020 election.

Professor Anthony Hall,  Will Paris '24 Be the Genocidal Olympics?
How Will the Olympic Movement Navigate the Merger From South African Apartheid to Israeli Genocide?
From what I am seeing from paying close attention to the ongoing massacre of penned-in Palestinians, it is entirely possible that the Paris Olympics this summer will be accompanied by an even more hideous stage in the ongoing genocide in Gaza. It is entirely possible that by then, the scope and scale of the debacle of warring violence will have grown considerably.
Based on a wrongheaded view of Russia’s necessary intervention to hold back NATO and US-backed aggressions in Ukraine, the International Olympics Committee (IOC) has already excluded Russia and Belarus from the Paris Games. As it now stands, however, the IOC will permit individual athletes and teams from those countries to compete independently...

..The IOC, so far at least, is sticking to the position that the genocide— a genocide already subject to a host of judicial interventions at the World Court— will welcome Israel to the Paris Olympic Games... In the process of Israel’s mass murder of Palestinians in Gaza, the IDF has killed 100s of the Strip’s top athletes including the Coach of the Palestinian Olympic Team, Hani Al-Mossader.  https://anthonyjhall.substack.com/p/will-paris-24-be-the-genocidal-olympics

Gilbert Doctorow, No News Is Good News (Including perspective on NATO's 75th anniversary and office-party.)
In recent days, international news in the West has been dominated by the Gaza conflict. We have heard how Biden came close to condemning Israeli atrocities and failed military operations in Gaza. We have heard about the Israeli withdrawal from Southern Gaza, which is interpreted either as a concession to the ‘or else’ threats coming out of Washington or as a prelude to the long announced attack on Rafah, depending on whom you want to believe.
However, in Russia the international and domestic news remains focused on the Ukraine conflict. Day after day, Russian state television provides not only statistics on destroyed Ukrainian planes, tanks, Himars and other rocket artillery units as well as headcounts of the killed and maimed enemy forces, but also relevant video coverage of these successes...
..Of considerably greater importance, we saw on last Sunday’s News of the Week program  hosted by Dmitry Kiselyov an extensive account of the ‘pre-history’ of the NATO treaty, with a fair dose of conspiracy theories set out that bring to the door of Harry Truman and Winston Churchill responsibility for the start of the Cold War.
Kiselyov emphasized Franklin Roosevelt’s neutral and objective appreciation of the Soviet contribution to the war effort, which ran counter to the views of the anti-Russian Churchill and his newfound fellow thinker U.S. Vice President Truman.  Roosevelt’s sudden death from a stroke just days before the Victory in Europe is said to have been possibly a case of poisoning, which Truman and his followers in the Oval Office up to and including John F. Kennedy refused to investigate by barring any exhumation of the body for tests. Moreover, Roosevelt’s quick burial hints at a cover-up, we are told
The net result of FDR’s death was unholy plotting of Truman as his successor, with Churchill’s blessing, to remove the USSR as a Great Power by dropping nuclear bombs on its 20 largest cities.  This scheme was not implemented, per Kiselyov, only because the U.S. lacked the bombs and while it worked to manufacture them the Soviet Union developed and tested its own A-bomb, putting an end to America’s nuclear monopoly and restoring a semblance of deterrence.
There is nothing new in what Kiselyov presented, but it is important that he laid out the story now because it is preparing the Russian people for all eventualities in the evolution of the Ukraine war into a Russia-NATO war.

Simplicius looks at the Chinese mixed-approach to market-capitalism, with some state guidance, which is close to the strategy that drove American industry and economy forward so well between the Civil War and WW-2.  Yellen Dispatched to Beg China for Face-Saving Slowdown
China is simply leaping ahead of the decrepit, deteriorating U.S. by every measure and the panicked elites have sent Yellen to beg China to “slow down” and not embarrass them on the world stage.
  How is China doing this?...
..“The U.S. funds wars, while China funds development.” But it really is true. Think about this for a moment...
..And yes, the current U.S. debt is a massive $34T. That means quite literally almost half of the entire current U.S. debt was blown on endless, mindless, genocidal wars in the Middle East.
The U.S. has wasted its entire blood and treasure on war. Imagine what the U.S. could have built with $14 trillion dollars? Where the U.S. could have been in relation to China for that amount? As someone else noted, the U.S. could have very well built its own “one belt and road” project for that money, connecting the world and reaping untold benefits.
China hasn’t spent a cent on war, and puts everything right back into economic development and wellbeing for its own people...
..What makes this historic malappropriation of American funds most tragic is that none of it came at the benefit of American people. The entire operation was carried out by an ethnic cabal within the U.S. government with loyalties only to Israel, and no one else. I’m speaking of course of the PNAC clan, who masterminded the entire breadth of the 21st century wars which have engulfed America in wretched shame and misery, irreversibly gutting the country and squandering its global standing.   These wars had nothing whatsoever to do with America’s national interests or security, and have done naught but make Americans less safe and the entire world more dangerous and unstable.
China doesn’t have this problem: there is no inimical ‘out’ group parasitizing their country’s leadership, literally assassinating (JFK) and blackmailing their presidents (Clinton). China is therefore able to focus on the interests of its own people.
And yes, for those wondering, it’s now fairly proven that Lewinsky was a Mossad honeytrap used to blackmail Clinton in assenting to various Israeli demands vis-a-vis the Oslo Accords, Wye River Memorandum, etc...
..The fact is, Israel is a destructive parasite sucking the lifeblood out of America, causing the host to wage unnecessary wars on its behalf which have utterly removed every advantageous and competitive edge the country might have had over its Chinese ‘rival’.....In short: as an empire dies, loses its industrial and manufacturing capacity, finance takes over, pumping up huge bubbles of phony speculative money that gives the brief appearance of economic prosperity—for a time. This is what’s currently happening in the U.S., as it drowns in its self-created agony of debt, misery, corruption, and global destabilization. One thing to note—if you’ll allow me this not-so-brief aside—is that the entire Western system is based on the actual institutionalized economic sabotage and subversion of the developing world...
..John Michael Greer just penned a new column about the neologism he coined: Lenocracy, which derives from the Latin “leno” for pimp; i.e. a government run by pimps, or pimpocracy. His definition of pimps in this case is that of middlemen who are the classic rent-seeking leaches—or rentier class—which extract economic rent without adding any value to the economy...
JMG characterizes the ‘pimps’ as basically all the unelected, bureaucratic, red-tape-weaving, blood-sucking monetary vultures killing growth and livelihoods by each taking their nibbles in turn from the carcass of the working class, exacting some small transactional charge at every step of routine business in Western nations, particularly the U.S. This has served to suffocate the average small business or entrepreneurship in general, not counting the big ticket venture capitalists who are mostly offshoots of global financial and investment firms. This is part and parcel to the lethal ‘financialization’ of the country that has spelled doom for its future...
..It is noteworthy that the CPC leadership recently launched a major drive to build China into a “financial great power,” with a financial system “based on the real economy.” That would be the antithesis to Anglo-American-style economic financialization...
..China is paving a new path forward for the entire world. The Chinese banking industry is now by far the largest on earth and President Xi has wisely put his foot down with a bold edict: we will not follow the path of destruction chosen by the West, but rather will set our own new path.
This is an iconoclastic, paradigm-breaking revolution which ends six centuries of Old Nobility world finance dominion, traced from the Spanish-Crown-allied Genoese bankers, to the Dutch, then English banking system which now continues to enslave the world, and is referred to by a variety of names in the dissident sphere: from Hydra, to Leviathan, to Cthulu, to simply: the Cabal.
All those 600 years are going up in smoke with China’s repudiation of the ‘old standards’, which privilege predatory, deceptive, extractive terms and practices meant to benefit only the Old Nobility elite class. China’s system is true stakeholder finance: the government will forcibly bend the bankers to its will, making sure that finance serves the common good and the people first, rather than speculation, financialization, capitalization, and all the other wicked inventions of the Western Old Nobility class...“
bringing greed is good era to an end.”...
..The big one:  “Government has called for banks to abandon a Western-style ethos and adopt an outlook in line with broader economic priorities.”
It’s a revolution in the making.
But if you’re thinking my dramatic flights above verge a touch on hyperbole or idealism, you could be right. I, of course, still proceed with caution; we can’t be sure that China will succeed in its grand demolishment of the age-old paradigm. But all signals point to early success thus far, and more importantly, it’s clear that China has a leader that fundamentally understands these things at the most rooted level. Western leaders not only are incapable of even grasping the complexities involved of reining in capital, they are unable to do so for the mere fact that they’re totally bought and paid for by the representatives of that very capital class. The cabal of Capital is so deeply and institutionally entrenched in Western governmental systems that it’s simply impossible to imagine them being able to see ‘the forest for the trees’ from within the forest itself...

..What they mean is that the Chinese government creates directives that spurn ‘market logics’ and are aimed at direct improvements to the lives of ordinary citizens. In the West there’s no such thing: all market decisions are based merely on the totally detached financial firms’ speculations and are exclusively at the behest of a tiny claque of finance and banking elite at the top of the pyramid.
You see, the U.S. is threatened because it knows it can never compete with China fairly, by squelching or containing its own gluttonous financial elite—so that leaves only one avenue for keeping up: sabotage and war.
This is the real reason the U.S. is desperate to stoke a Chinese invasion of Taiwan by various provocations, including weapons shipments. Just like the U.S. used Ukraine as the battering ram to bleed and weaken Russia economically, disconnecting it from Europe, U.S. hopes to use Taiwan as the Ukraine against China...
..But it’s unlikely to work—China is too sagacious to take the bait and fall for the trap. It will patiently wait things out, allowing the U.S. to drown in its own endless poison and treachery.   https://simplicius76.substack.com/p/yellen-dispatched-to-beg-china-for

'Brazil's Darth Vader' Orders Investigation Into Elon Musk After Defying X Court Order
While X initially said in a Saturday post that they would comply, blocking certain popular accounts in Brazil - Musk said an hour later, after the release of the "TWITTER FILES BRAZIL," that they would not, noting that "As a result, we will probably lose all revenue in Brazil and have to shut down our office there."

The "Twitter Files "also show that the justice “sought to weaponize Twitter’s content moderation policies against supporters of then-president @jairbolsonaro,” Mr. Shellenberger said—a similar trend to what the “Twitter files” revealed was happening to former President Donald Trump and conservative voices in the United States.
The origin of the order to censor Brazilians’ posts was also revealed in the internal Twitter files, Mr. Shellenberger said.

“The World Health Organization, United Nations, and the World Economic Forum shall have no jurisdiction or power within the state of Louisiana. No rule, regulation, fee, tax, policy, or mandate of any kind of the World Health Organization, United Nations, and the World Economic Forum shall be enforced or implemented by the state of Louisiana or any agency, department, board, commission, political subdivision, governmental entity of the state, parish, municipality, or any other political entity.”
Vigilant News reports the legislation is “still pending passage in Louisiana’s Republican-majority House,” however, the bill is likely to pass.

From Sasha Latypova, Dr. Charles Hoffe stood up for the victims. He needs your help now.
For speaking out and warning his patients of the dangers of the vaccines, Charles is being persecuted by the province's regulatory college, and it seems the proceedings are taking a truly Orwellian turn -- as you can read below (h/t to Catherine for sharing this with me).
Ted Kuntz of Vaccine Choice Canada has started a fund-raising campaign to support Charles' legal defence. The links are at the bottom of this news item. If you can, please consider supporting him, and keep Charles in your prayers.
